I've been slowly putting together my characters, and I'm getting toward done, but I have several questions:

  • Do you have to pay for racial abilities your avatar has?
  • What kind of racial abilities would a snake-man have (and would he even need to be given any if I don't want them?)?
  • Are bisexual male characters allowed?

Yes. Racial traits would be counted as skills or feats - depending on the effect (positive or negative). In some cases (if the trait has negative outcome), they could add a skill.

Like Naga? Half man and half snake (lower part a snake)? Or humanoid with snakeskin? Or human with a snake head?
-Are bisexual male characters allowed?
Hmmm... well, you can. But I will certainly not write any scenes involving a man on man.

Alright. Is there any way to pay for bonus abilities for an avatar?

Probably anthro-snake, or anthro-snake with a naga tail. So humanoid, but snake skin/head/tail.

Basically, positive traits are usually balanced out by negative traits of similar weight.

For race traits - well, they will be what you will make them. If you give no racial traits, they will be like humans by strengths - only looking/moving differently. Basically, you can customise the entire race. Give them the weaknesses and strengths of your choice.
 
The race traits I went with were:
  • Increased stamina and strength
  • Slowed reflexes and speed (not movement speed, though)
  • Natural armour and weapons (not sure how strong it is, though)
Would it be fair to count that, overall, as a single skill?

Also, how much would a shield cost?
 
Wood shield - 20
Steel shield - 50

Not sure abut skill - could you explain what you mean by weapons - armour, I get it - scales. But weapons - Fangs? Claws?

In this case, it would be two skills.


  • Increased stamina and strength (+2)
  • Slowed reflexes and speed (not movement speed, though) (-2)
  • Natural armour and weapons (not sure how strong it is, though) (+2)
