"Train them in what? I mean, their superpowers are temporary - as are mine. I can teach them to shoot, I guess, and maybe try to give them the basics of investigation." The cop shrugs. "As far as I know, she dropped off the face of the Earth - no social media, no nothing. Seems the people working at her news station weren't really around then - the new manager said the guy from back then is retired."
She was a little hesitant, wondering if she was being baited again. Letting out another magic blast, she didn't aim directly at him, only trying to strike at the ground beside him and see if he'd react. If he didn't, it would be safe to assume he had no energy left and she could proceed with capturing him, untying her boys, finishing up here, taking him back to the base....and she'd work out what next from all there. She couldn't really just leave him running around while she was working on such a large scale scheme for now, after all. But it would also be more satisfying to toy with him knowing he couldn't do anything about it then just have him killed right here and now.
"You know what? That's a good question." To her frustration, her words prove too effective, changing his objective from the container to the leash, and making her plan useless. Spoiler: Speed Contest Roll D100: Vanessa: 35 Gang Leader: 45 The man slips around behind her, a finger slipping under the collar and pulling her back, as he holds the leash up to her neck.
Five hours later: Tied to a chair in his former base, Finch comes to, his lost blood replaced with a plant substitute to keep him alive. "W-Wha...?" He groans. (Sorry for how brief that was. A longer post just detailing how they all get back seemed like it'd be boring to read.)
Damn it. She hissed as her taunt proved too effective, Vanessa's plan to catch him by surprise as he attempts to break the lock was foiled. But now, she knew he wanted to attach a leash to her collar, she shrugd it off as a useless act, unaware of her collar's weakness. "Khh!" The heiress groans, feeling him pull back her collar. She takes her chance, swinging her nylon-clad leg behind her, hoping to either shatter his knees, or his balls on the off chance her leg gets between his. Sadly, she does nothing to hinder his attempt of leashing her.
“I've never been good at making friends.” Azura admitted. Because I did not want them to know how much of a pervert I am – and that was before I found out how perverted I really am. She added in her mind. “As for my family visiting, the chance is practically zero. They call a few times a week, to check on me and make sure I am fine, and they let me know ahead of time if they are coming to visit. Even if their visit is not planned they will try to call and let me know. Plus they have an anniversary coming up – next Saturday, if I am not mixing the dates – so they will likely spend the weekend together having fun. So no need to worry about them dropping by uninvited.” She explained.

Finch could hear some henchmen's voice he heard over the radios before speaking, only for him to get an eye of his surroundings. Malady had returned to idly lying on the couch, in front of him. Yet, this time every inch of her body was on display. Not the slightest scrap of clothing on the busy villainess's body, but the circumstances didn't exactly leave it as enjoyable as it would otherwise be. That sultry but sinister smile on her face remained though, locking onto him as he awaked. "Like what I've done with this place? Hardly matters. I stabilized your wounds. You're welcome for that. For what it's worth, I made sure not to rough up that pretty face of yours. But now....what do I do with you? Keep you around as a trophy? Fun. Get you addicted into becoming a mindless brute at my feet? Also tempting. Or....if you want to leave me all alone....I suppose, in exchange for all your files and information you have on everyone. You can share your little secrets with me, can't you?"
Speaking gently and carefully to the assault victim in an effort to be sympathetic, Calista sits on the floor across from him and says "Hey, Lee. I'm Calista. I'm a new singer who was down the hall. Um, some guy in a mask and supervillain outfit got through security, attacked you, and abducted Lana. I'm sorry. The police are on the way, I think, and a couple people are getting stuff to treat you. Did you get a look at the man who hit you? Can you describe him? Or what you remember happening in the last few minutes? I don't trust the company to be able to keep me safe anymore, so anything you can tell me will help. I need to know what kind of things to look out for." While talking with Lee, Calista keeps her ears open for the sounds of the two business people returning or anyone else nearing the room. Best to minimize how many people know all the questions I'm asking. [edit: added a little description]
"Investigation, procedures, basic combat... how not to get yourself into stupid situations." She said. "Blue Streak was captured... but maybe we will manage to find her..." She turned to look at the beach. She considered, who to turn to ask for help in this situation... how to beat this conspiracy... but, to her dismay, the only real option so far, was Vardek. "Have to go." She said as she got up. She had to fly somewhere secluded, and start planning on taking down this whole mess...
"Oh it can happen. And it will," Squidlock replies pressing his tentacles against her nipples even harder as the one between her legs uses the extra lubrication to slide even faster against her, a single bump on its length flicking against her clit over and over again, "Because the ONLY thing I want you to do is this! As her leg swings back, Vanessa hears the click of the leash as it attaches itself to her collar, and immediately, she realises something's seriously wrong. She'd failed to notice before how strong, how invigorated she's felt since gaining her powers. In an instant, that's gone, and she remembers what it feels like to be...normal. The heroine feels her foot slam between the man's legs, feeling what's beneath his pants and knowing she's done absolutely no damage. "What's this?" The villain says with interest.
"That's a surprise - such a charming young woman should have no problem making friends. I guess it's convenient for our purposes, however." Esmerelda nods. "So on the event that they did come, we'd have time to prepare. Good."
The fallen hero stirs to life, eyes fluttering open, and she's surprised to see how young he looks without his mask - he must be only 18 or 19, face drawn with boyishly handsome features. With his youth comes youthful embarrassment as he sees the villainess' naked form in front of him. "I don't suppose I could talk you into the whole 'let me go so we can play cat and mouse' plan, do I?" Despite the cockiness of his words, he's blushing and trying to avert his eyes, while something substantial rises between his legs. "You know, I called you creepy before, but this is kinda pushing it..." He says, a hint of nervousness in his voice.
"They took Lana? Oh, no! W-We have to get her back!" The young man stumbles to his feet. "I-I don't know - it all happened so fast... He was wearing a mask, so I didn't see his face." Lee frowns when he thinks she's worried about her safety. "I-uh... Don't think you need to worry." Spoiler: Awareness Roll D100: 79 (Success) Something about Lee's answers seems slightly disingenuous to Calista's trained ears. The drama classes the label's been making her take to help with her stage performance make her think that the man is trying just a bit too hard.
"Sure, I'll show them the ropes. No guarantee they'll learn, but I'll do my best." Erik nods. "Oh, you're off already?" Thinking about Vardek, she knows she'll have to head back to the prison - though getting him out will be tough. Unlike Golden Lasso's mostly trivial crimes, Vardek did try to conquer humanity, after all. There's plenty of abandoned buildings across the city that she can use to base herself.
As a cocktail of hormones and adrenaline ravages her body, compelling her to obedience, the blonde does her best to resist - crying out in pure pleasure as he ravages her body. "N-Never... I'll never submit to a monster like you." Before Squidlock can respond, he hears a clicking noise from down the alley, and turns to find a uniformed police officer raising his gun - not bothering to say 'freeze' to a creature like the one before him. Clearly, the blonde's moans attracted attention.
“That makes me wonder: Do the two of you have any close friends or relatives that might look for you? Especially you, Esme. Anyone who would get worried if you are not home for a few days?”
With a growl of frustration, he whips out a pair of tentacles towards the officer, one to slap his weapon away... and the other to wrap around his throat and squeeze.
“I have to say. You’re younger than I expected. I can’t complain. Young men are always so full of energy….but for all your act of being daring you’re actually not all that used to being around woman when it’s without a mask, aren’t you? As much as I enjoy that face, I’ll probably dump you somewhere if you do as asked. You have a lot of valuable information on the gangs and powers. Death’s Hand is the important one, but learning all the other players and their strengthens and weaknesses would make me happy….” Her flirtatious attitude shifted into more a serious one. “You must have crossed paths with them. You know something.”
Calista stands when Lee tries to get up, offering to help him up and keep him steady if he needs it. Wait, is he faking his reaction? Is he in on this? Hmm. Now I really need to be careful. Following him and talking with him as Sonata would be a good idea, but I'm stuck in this skirt for now. Calista doesn't probe any further "If something like this can happen here in broad daylight, I certainly do need to worry! I-I hope the police can find her quickly." She'll do her best to act the part of a scared bystander until she can leave, assuming no issues such as someone trying to force her to record today. Once Calista isn't needed at the studio, she'll go to her apartment nearby, quickly change into Sonata, and try to track down Lee. I should have time to change and get back here in time to follow the "loving boyfriend."
