"Of course." She agreed with his statement about lack of threat - the man was too intelligent to make such a straight statement, if he had such a nefarious intentions. Faye Cox did enjoy the eyes of the man on her ass - she was a stunning looking female and she knew it. At his smile, at her fantasies, she started to wonder - whether something showed on her face... or was the man a secret telepath. "Oh?" She raised an eyebrow. So the man was sure of the alien source of her tech. "So, you offer help for free... in return for look into our secrets, yes?" She leaned back in the chair - but also did not drink yet. "Allowing a free access into all of our secrets is big no... but some... Yes, I could go with some. What exactly, are you looking for?"
Spoiler: Stealth Roll D100: 68 Luckily, the men aren't expecting to be followed, allowing Vanessa to trail along behind. They step into an elevator, the LED above the door declaring that they're going down to the parking garage. Luckily, Vanessa's in incredible shape, so beating them down there via the stairs isn't too hard. As the soldiers exit the elevator and head for a waiting van, she hears bits and pieces of conversation, from the man she clashed with. "Yes sir, there was a civilian woman. No, sir - she tried to interfere, but I put her on her ass. No, she shouldn't be too hurt - if I'd wanted her dead or crippled, I'd have dropped her on her head." As Vanessa hears sirens in the distance, the men get into the van, which is already in gear and ready to drive off. Surprisingly, she sees, it's a SWAT van, or at least is the same model, painted to look like one. Once it gets out of the garage, it'll blend into the oncoming police vehicles.
Despite her self-confidence, there's something about Hammer that makes her gulp, not just the obvious power of his collosal body, but the way he looks at her - like she's a piece of meat. Reaching out a hand, he manhandles the blonde as she gets close, pulling her in to sit close next to him in the booth. He stares at her for a moment, before his voice emerges in a low growl. "What's your game, girl?"
Hearing what she could, Vanessa clicked her tongue. Damn it, maybe I should have one of those tracker gadgets some of the heroes use. She thought to herself, ill prepared to track a van that could perfectly blend in with the mess they've caused. Specially if she had to run back home to get her collar, and don her costume. "Tsk." With a click of her tongue, Vanessa gives up the chase. But she does take note that whoever they were reporting to seemed to be curious if she was hurt. The heiress waits for them to drive off, hoping to eavesdrop whatever else she could. Before returning upstairs, The hospital knows I'm here. They'd worry too much if I just suddenly disappeared. She thinks to herself as she waits by the lobby.
Taking position outside the diner, it only takes 15 minutes before Malady sees what she wants to see. All around the small diner, the patrons attack each other in terror and confusion. Outside, a trucker lucky enough to not have been exposed to her toxin sees what's happening in the diner, and raises his phone to call the police.
The man continues to face her down, thinking quietly. "What am I looking for? I have nothing specific in mind. I just have a feeling that your 'secrets' could be of great value."
The chaos was what she needed. Having the police show up was the intended result. Most likely this would definitely bait Ryota to the scene. And then he’d find the flowers. He’d naturally seek out more of them in the area. And he’d reason that it meant Finch was working with her…..all she had to do was see who the winner is. She knew it was time to make her exit back and ensure that even a moron like Ryota could get in to this other wannabe hero’s base. He’d likely be pretty distracted with trying to get control of things which would leave a opening to get close enough to find a way to expose a secret entrance just enough. Even if the two met responding to the scene earlier then planned it would probably just have them jump to conclusions sooner and get in a fight publically. Either way, the end result was going to see which one was worth taking more seriously.
Faye smiled. "That is the less reason to share~" She said. "After all, you stand to gain much... with minimum effort." Sha paused. "True, my company could do better with your support, but we would eventually get there o our own." She paused. "While with our secrets... of great values, you could gain immensely. In this deal, we gain less."
30 minutes later: "Well, that'll be all, Miss Fitzgerald, you're free to leave." Police chief Dawson stands in front of Vanessa, after she's given her statement. "If you can think of anything else, please call us. If you'd like, I could have an officer drive you home?"
Spoiler: Who arrives at the base? D3: 1 Some time later, at her vantage point in the train yard, Malady catches sight of Ryota, the young man holding his sword in hand as he moves through the yard.
"Thank you, Chief Dawson. Sadly that's all I could do to help." Vanessa replied after the interview was finished, "I won't be needing an escort however, my driver is surely worried about me. Again, thank you, and good luck." She smiles, but as she walks away, "Oh, once you do find out who they are, could you tell me? They killed my lawyer you see, and I'd like to learn who's responsible." She asked, and after hearing Dawson's reply, she heads back home.
"Which is a long winded way of saying: You want something in return." The businessman smirks. "So, what could I possibly offer a woman like you...?"
A little more ahead of things than usual. But it gave her some idea of how she could work with this. She was aware of what needed to be done. He had already figured he was on the right track, but now she had to guide him a bit more if she wanted him doing her work for her. Trying to avoid exposing her exact position, she attempted to channel a small vine from what soil she could get out of the rubble area near the key code door to punch the code in, while staying away from his view point.
"Of course, Miss Fitzgerald." The man nods his head diplomatically. Spoiler: Perception Roll D100: 58+10 Looking at the man before she leaves, there's something...off...about his expression, but she can't pinpoint what. The drive home is mercifully uneventful - a police car trails behind to make sure no attackers are following, before driving off as she reaches her mansion out of town. "Oh, my dear, are you alright?" The family butler fawns over her as she leaves the car. "The news has already gotten wind of the fact that you were there - expect journalists pestering you tomorrow."
"You could surprise me." Faye shrugged. In truth, she had no need of anything in particular... That smirk of his sent a shiver down her spine. Another image appeared in her mind. A golden cuffs, a collar and leash, A golden whip tracing around her back, Faye stripped to her heels and stockings, on her knees sucking - she quickly banished the fantasy. The presence of the damn pure gold was still influencing her. But, maybe... "I wonder... I might start sponsoring my own hero team. So how about the exchange. Your secret for mine~" The technology behind his own hero, may come in handy. And if her company could start her own, independent hero team... Well, let's see what he would offer as his own suggestion first. Besides, she was not really in the mood to share her technology.
What is? Hmm, better keep a close eye on him whenever we meet. Vanessa makes a note to herself, marking the police chief as suspicious. And they arrived home, she smiles as she's greeted by Lawrence, the other man who supported her when her parents were killed. "Thank you, and I'm fine, those men seemed more interested in Oscar's will than they were of me." Vanessa replied, sighing as he spoke about journalists, "I'm more or less used to them, but what do I have going on tomorrow?" She asked, as they walk to her room.
“I see... in that case the first thing we should do is find out where Esmerelda is. Once we know that we can decide on the best way to rescue her – either by attacking the gang or by some other method, such as tricking them. Do you have anyone else we can ask for help with this task? I don't think it is wise to split up, so it would be better if we check one place and someone else check the other.” Azura looked at Sapphira questioningly.
"To answer your first question: Because my Master has taken a certain interest in you," Squidlock replies, the tentacle at her inner thigh starting to trail up higher, teasing more of her skin as it draws closer to her core, "And He does not like his invitations being ignored." The tentacles squeezing her tits loosen enough that another tentacle can plunge down the front of her costume and starts to pull outwards, looking to rip her top open before fully embracing her once again. "To answer your second question: I am not acting out of perversion, as fun as playing with your lusty body shall be. I am simply preparing you for my Master's way. And trust me, it would be FAR better to let me prepare you first than to be in his glory as you are."

"Secret?" He raises an eyebrow. "Ah, I see - you want the power armor. I have to say, I didn't think it was your style. Well, just like there are things you don't want to disclose, there are certain things I'd like to keep to my chest, as well. But maybe I can part with certain pieces. I'm surprised that you've decided to sponsor your own team - it's a...bold choice." He chuckles. "I'll return at a later date with a piece of my technology - we can see how much we trust one another then."
