Found out about this place from Questionable Questing, on the Worm ideas thread.

Still hoping to find some Worm stuff here on CHYOA.
 
Somebody mentioned it on Reddit, and the concept was novel enough to check out for myself.

CHYOO was hosted and run by literotica, but I believe it suffered from many issues and was never really looked after. There was discussion on the literotica forum about setting up a new site, Friedman decided to, and the rest is history. I don't believe there was any formal collaboration from lit to move stories, but instead Friedman just copied/imported them all into Chyoa I guess on the assumption that they're public domain/have no copyright.
 
The first time Chyoo went out of order for a significant time, there was an independent effort to copy/rescue the site, Chyoo3, which faded after Lit repaired Chyoo2.

Good to see a strong successor arise again.
