"Yes, ma'am. Package acquired - we're en route to your location." Max hears a woman talking as he's roused from his slumber. He can't see her, but recognises her voice - she'd said she was a TV producer, looking for contestants to be on a reality show - his desire for fame catching up with him again as he'd agreed to go off with her 'to see the studio'.
Max doesn't remember what happened after that, but given that he's bound and gagged and strapped hand and foot to some sort of chair, he can guess. From the hum of an engine, and the way the floor moves beneath him, he guesses he's in the back of a van or a truck - he can't be sure, given the black bag on top of his head. "He's awake." The woman says, and the bag is pulled away, his eyes painfully adjusting for a moment, before he gets another look at his captor.

"Rise and shine, kid. Don't do anything stupid, and you won't get hurt." She says, seeming much less friendly than before. Behind her, Max sees two muscular thugs, electric batons in hand. "Ooh, he's awake? Put me on, put me on." Another female voice - this one more familiar to Max - says through the woman's radio. The kidnapper rolls her eyes, then shoves the radio next to Max's face. "Hey there, Maxxie. How're we feeling? They didn't give you too much of a hard time, did they?" Ashley Leth says in her regular, cheery tone of voice. Any response Max has comes out as a moan, due to the gag, and the kidnapper sighs, before pulling it out.
