As she entered the room, she thankfully found that it was empty - the other Ivy was not here. It took her some time, but eventually she found where the money were hidden and paid the man. As he left, Ivy was left alone in the room... She was sure her other self would come soon, but she had some time to make preparations of her choice.

Her other self would likely be able to be made see reason, yet the most immediate assumption of seeing a duplicate would be a hallucination, a manifestation of some kind, or a twisted agalmation and spectre created from a soul edge shard. She’d need to immobilize her other version long enough to get the initial wave of panic done. Yet, she should carry the same weakness.

Looking through her alternate selves materials, she could get to work making a magic trap that should be imbued with the powers of holy energy. She didn’t have the ability to bless or purify anything, but the laws of the tangential physical properties should allow an effective kind of ward…she would just need to avoid getting herself caught up in it.
