Is plant sex allowed?

No, this is not a troll question. While I understand that animals immediately don't fall under the Harkness Test, is it just as vile as fucking a plant? And not simply one that's controlled by, say, an environmental wizard of sorts, that can control long thick vines to attack and violate would-be adventures.

I'm talking about sticking your dick in daffodils, humping the holes in a tree, and squirting over a patch of tomatoes. I'm going to guess that a cucumber acting as a phallic object is good to go, but how about vegetation that are (technically) alive, in the ground, and can grow?

And though I've seen mushrooms/fungi be used in a story before, I have to ask whether that's because it passes site standards, or if it's because the mods aren't aware of it. So I have to ask, is dendrophilia allowed, or does it cross a line?

If I saw what looked to be the world's lewdest beanstalk DP-ing some girl, I'd probably grab some hairspray and a lighter or a molotov cocktail. You could blur this line if the story requires it, but once the plant seems too "animal-ish," then it could be bestiality.

Correlating this to the other tread, it makes you think how we worry about the rules to depict immaginary characters and 'things' having sex, all the whole harkness test deal, while there's no problem with involving real people.
As long as you don't bring unsuitable kinks into the equation.

Yeah, creatures (monsters, magical constructs, whatever offspirng of an author sick mind...) most of the times play the part of the active agressor (even though there's a more recent trend to reverse the roles).

That doesn't remove the need for them to pass the harkness test though.

Plants are just a convenient exception.

I think Batman would concur as he believes she's still more human than plant, and as best I can tell from research, Poison Ivy more or less controls the plants rather than them being sentient and under her rule. Though I doubt she'd be too happy if you fucked her plants without her consent.

Plus, you might run into a situation from M. Night Shyamalan's 'The Happening' if you go around fucking plants without their consent. Haha!
