I was wondering what your opinion is on posting short stories on chyoa.
I recently wrote a 750 words story that did pretty well on literotica (750 word stories are an ongoing challenge over there), but absolutely bombed here. I thought it was too short to split up in multiple chapters and making 1 chapter stories felt weird too, so I started a short story collection for it. The collections intro got 150 views and the story itself only 50.
Now I'm pretty sure I could get it at least a few hundred views if i didn't put it in a collection and used the actual title + a more attractive cover image, but I also kinda feel like it's just not worth doing? It's obviously not really the point of the site. Then again I have uploaded any other linear story here (always 2k+ words though) and they have done fine.
