Renee paused as she heard a discharge. She smiled, looked like someone decided to take action with the opportunity. Well, hopefully, they took care of all of the guards... but she couldn't be sure. Catherine looks equally breathless, but at the same time, a hunger seems to drive the older woman, as she gets out of the bath, not bothering to dry off as she holds her daughter by the wrist, pulling the pirate from the bath and through the hall, towards her modest bedroom. "On the bed, dearest. On your hands and knees." She says, sounding loving, but also unusually domineering.
"A favor. If you'll win, I'll do something for you, whatever you want - within reason. Obviously, I won't sign away my family's estate or shoot myself, but for anything reasonable, on my honor, I'll be your servant." Charles says, affecting humility.

Still a bit out of breath, Mariel allowed herself to be led to the bedroom. Her mother's tone, loving but domineering, sent a shiver through her body and she obeyed without hesitation. Quickly the naked pirate got on the bed and on her hands and knees, then shook her booty a bit in invitation and anticipation.
Opening the hatch and heading below, Renee's assaulted with the stench that only a slave ship can provide - the human cargo packed tightly together in the hold, with minimal light and sanitary provisions. Not hesitating, Renee quickly takes a shot at the man, with one of her pistols. Then she glanced at the trio, her eyes narrowing. "Are zere any othairs left?" She asked.
"Well, it would be difficult to arrange a proper party on such short notice, but perhaps a visit to the theatre would be good." She called it a theatre, but it wasn't really much more than a usual open air stage. Still, it was funded form somewhere and she had saw to it that the actors were at least talented enough people. For a moment, she debated if it was time to incentize higher prices for it, but it helped keep the common citizens quiet enough that it was probably worth the cheap admission as it was.
"I think she'd prefer if I didn't tell you..." The man whispers. "And she'll send her groom to the Cathedral of San Cristobal every Sunday - I'm not supposed to approach her directly. You tell him that you could use some help understanding the sermon, and he'll tell you he'll explain it to you, and lead you off to meet with the Duqessa somewhere private." He explains.
