Zilavra read the note and started contemplating a plan. She immediately wrote off the idea of The Brothel. It was possible that it would be the safest route, but it would require many things to go right. Her scars would make it difficult to get a job there and there was no way of knowing whether Otto would accept the attention of a dark elf. It also would require her to be able to be seductive or sultry. Things that were also difficult for her.
She crumpled the note and left. Her first task was to find someplace to stay near or even inside the Green Dragon Inn. If she could befriend one or both of his guards and somehow delay them, then it may make an attack in the Market Square more accessible. On the other hand, she could wait and look for a quiet moment to strike at some point if his protection let their guards down inside the residence.
Heading deeper into town, Zilavra finds that the Green Dragon, and the neighboring Mitre Inn, which is pressed up almost window to window with its competitor, both have available rooms. The establishments are raucous affairs, ground floors filled with tables and all manner of people drinking at them. Sadly, as it's only about midday, Zilavra has no opportunity to catch sight of her target or his guards, nor what rooms they've taken - though the staff might know.
Casting an eye on his prey, Cerin begins to notice the man sitting next to her - a portly middle aged human man with an oversized moustache and flowing brightly colored robes that cover his fat. He leans in to whisper in the redhead's ear, too close and intimately to be casual. The noblewoman looks repulsed, but doesn't do anything to reproach him. Or can't...
"Her?" A guard in armor stationed nearby says, afforded the opportunity to make small talk as he's positioned near low status commoners rather than nobles and burghers. "Husband's dead. And rumor has it she has to do whatever she can to deal with the debts he left. With whoever she has to..." The warrior chortles.
Elf let out a mix of snicker, chuckle and a scoff, a reaction he copied from posh royal ladies he seen before, a mocking laughter usually aimed at the commoners. It feels appropriate in response to what he just heard.
"What a tragedy. Surprised there aren't more people around her. I know merchants that would kill for an opportunity to marry into royalty." Cerim states coldly, not even hiding the fact it amused him. No need to hide the obvious. Nothing he didn't know sadly, so he will need to prod that guard carefully for information. If he starts to ask directly who's who and who might benefit, it would make him a suspect once she vanishes without a trace.
Fat man sitting next to her certainly fit the bill of a merchant: fancy clothes, fat, older. Only thing missing was a pair of bodyguards in shiny plate armours guarding him. This kind of people love to appear important.
Elf's eyes glanced at her again as he pondered just how desperate his target might be. It's always nice when his target welcomes him with open arms, eager to be rescued, naively trusting the elf until it was too late. It doesn't seem to be the case though, she seemes too upset, not trying to cozy up to the dressed up whale for protection from debts. She still has some pride and certainly enough experience to not get lured in so easily. He will need to bide his time and see where this goes.
Lydia's eyes are open wide for a moment, before she smirks. "Well, I suppose I have nothing planned tonight." She leans in a little raising a hand. Her long, slender finger touches Delphi's upper chest and begins to slide downwards. "I wouldn't be averse to making a pretty little thing like you sing..."
By the Nine! Ok, stay calm! Stay focused... Damn she has soft hands!
Giving the Elf a smile, Delphia says, "Well, then. How about we go somewhere a little more private. We wouldn't want our private lesson to be interrupted."
Inside, Eliza sees a surprisingly elegant and luxurious feeling store, given that it's supposed to be marketed to adventurers. Racks of clothing items dominate the floorspace, with plentiful changing rooms down a long hallway. A few doors in that hallway are ajar, showing that there are larger rooms for measuring and tailoring as well. At a counter stands a blue haired woman who smiles. View attachment 10117
"C'mon in, sweetheart. In the mood for new duds? Let's see if we can rustle you up something nice."
"Oh thank you." Eliza said with a smile towards the shopkeeper while her eyes audited the shops wares. "I'm uh... I'm with the Adventure's Guild and I'm about to go on my first assignment." The half-elf's eyes came upon some particularly racy items and she blushed slightly. "It's um- it's in Collingworth and I'd like to be appropriately attired."
After her cursory glance Eliza had spotted a few pairs of tall boots that interested her as well as several skirts that struck her fancy, even if they would traditionally be considered too short for a respectable woman. "Do you have anything that might be suitable?"
Unlike Ellaria, Emara realises the attention, smirking softly, as she turns around. Her...clothing, for lack of a better word, barely covers her ass, meaning that Eran has a fantastic view of her round posterior as she moves ahead of him, leading him and Ellaria through the pews and into the back rooms of the temple. They stop in what seems to be a board room or office of some kind. The three of them are alone, and Eran has flashes of a three way that sadly fail to materialise as the priestesses get to business. "We need you to recover an artifact that was stolen from the temple." Emara begins to explain. "It's a statuette, maybe a foot tall, displaying the goddess' emergence into the heavens." Eran knows from his own minor religious education that that means the statue is of a naked Yselva.
Alone with two busty, hot elf chicks! I'd love to do more than just look at them... but I don't want to push my luck right after arriving. Ellaria is unlikely to agree, even if her mother would be fine with it, and I get the feeling that trying to force her would be... troublesome. Resisting the temptation was hard, but it helped that the two elves were on the other side of a large wooden desk. Instead he tried to focus on the task at hand. “Anything more you can tell me? Where was the statuette before being stolen? Any idea who took it or where to search for it?” He tried not to think about the fact that the statuette likely depicted a naked Yselva. Perhaps after I get it back I can get a bonus, either from Emara, or from both of them...
"Hey, I'm barely a hundred, Lyr! I wasn't that old at the time. Besides, he was a human - they basically age in dog years." Lauriel chuckles. "Heh, sure. When there's some time I'll give you all the juicy details."
Lauriel's sister nods. "We were thinking of shadowing the kid and his security. We stay unseen until pretty boy finds something worth taking. Then we nab it." She says.
"Still, if you're being serious about dating him, we won't stop you." Lauriel adds with a smirk.
Lyria rolled her eyes, “I was just saying, maybe if someone seduced the boy he’d take us to the good stuff willingly. But, if stealing from him and his mercs works too…” She shrugged, “We can do it like that. But say, why do you need me for all that? You two are plenty capable to shadow a green half-elf and his hired brawn and steal their trinkets while they are not looking, no?”
“I don’t really see where my skills are needed here. You’d just be giving up part of the loot by taking me along, girls,” Lyria chuckled, eyeing them both for any sign of deceit, “You two not telling me the whole story here?”
The voice lets him leave without trouble, as Zendak finds his way back to the local guild branch office, which is a smaller version of the main guild hall, magically connected to the main headquarters through some sort of spacetime sorcery. Heading to the desk, he sees another rookie adventurer griping about losing his starting gear. Instead of the old man that signed him up, an elf woman stands behind the desk, radiating sweetness even as the adventurer gets more and more belligerent. View attachment 10116
"I'm very sorry, sir, but there are no replacements for starting gear. If you've lost your weapon, you'll need to replace it yourself." She smiles, the sweetness not relaxing a moment, even as the guy in front of Zendak starts to shout.
Zendak could admire a nice curves of the elven female - the breasts were nice, big and shapely - perfect for milking!
He frowned as the man in front of him continued making trouble... he cared little for what he did, but he was keeping the line. For a moment, he considered interfering... but then paused. He knew better then that - the guild had it's own... on the other hand, it would score him some good will with the secretary... As the halfling considers the matter, the guy was becoming more rowdy... finally, with a sigh he approached the man and touched him, casting a quiet spell to drain his life force. Not much, only enough to make him pass out.
"Right. A little calmer, yeah~" He said as he walked over the unconscious man. "Hello! I am here about my earlier inquires." He addressed the secretary.
Having at least stopped her target’s movement, it would give her the chance to get closer and hopefully at least properly face her target. She tried to think of what she could do here. If she could get close enough to properly see her target, she’d have to take a risk and try one of her mental spells. Trying to dominate had dangers and she still never really managed using it on a person consistently. But if she kept it to very simplistic instructions, that might work.
Let go and save yourself.
The command probably was pretty simple, but there wasn’t really time to guess how well it would work before she had to make her attempt.
Meira speaks, her words flowing from her mouth, reinforced by potent magics. In the crowd, though, it's hard to specify a target, however, and the enchanted sounds dissipate, the effect weakening as it effects everyone in the crowd a little bit, instead of affecting its actual target a lot.
Pressing further, Meira gets a glimpse of Celeste's hair, and pushes a little closer. She sees a young man kicking free of the roots binding his feet, one hand on Celeste's arm, as he bends down to tear the roots around Celesete's ankles. Celeste seems strangely passive.
"Mmmhh!" Fei couldn't help but let out a surprised, yet sweet voice as Peng's long, slimy tongue glides along her stocking-clad foot. "You, stop it already!" Blushing just a little bit, she pulls her foot back, before thrusting it right into Peng's face to kick him away. "Enough. Behave now, or I'll only give you half a portion for dinner." She scolds him, taking in a deep breath to try and calm herself. Only to inhale more of the strange smell, "Mmh." Which then makes her shudder, "What... what the hell is causing such a smell." She says in an irritated voice, placing her book on the bed, putting her boot back on, before checking on the drawer where the strange musk seems to be coming from.
"Hek!" Peng flies back, landing hard along the floor as Fei kicks him, groaning a little as he gets up, dazed. Heading to the drawer, Fei opens it up, looking inside. She sees pairs of underwear inside - loin cloths, sack underwear, etc. The full scent of the musk hits her in the face.
Claudia breathed heavily, feeling how all emotions and adrenaline leaving her body. Again she managed to survive combat. She stared at her covered in blood dagger, as it saved her life again. She get up and clean dagger in clothes of dead men.
„Well, it looks like I have won this fight. Good for me”. She said and takes her own sword from the ground.
„I have to talk to that woman. She probably hides herself in house”. Claudia looted body of the soldier.
Heading over and getting down to her knees by the corpse, Claudia rifles through the soldier's pockets.

Checking the pockets underneath the gambeson, Claudia pulls out a purse, quickly counting about 100 gold coins inside. She finds a medallion around the man's neck, emblazoned with a crown and crossed spears. His halberd, made of unexeptional but quality steel, would be worth some coin if she can bother to take the long weapon and sell it. Or she could use it as a backup.

"Urgh, can't believe this stupid goblin is so hard to discipline." Fei grumbles, idly opening the drawer. Only to see it chock full of the farmer, or perhaps his son's undergarments. "Grrgh!" Her eyes go wide, she immediately shuts it close once more. "W-what the hell! Don't they wash these!" She gasps, taking a few steps back. Ghhh, I shouldn't have expected too much from a farmer! B-but... She blushes, quivering as deep at the back of her mind, a small part of her seemed to have enjoyed the strong musk. "No, no, focus damn it. You're... I'm here for a job." Fei shakes her head, giving her cheeks a light slap to try and regain some of her composure. Shaking her head, trying to ignore the stench coming from the drawer. Fei returns to her book, feeling more flustered than ever.

Claudia counting coins, smiling to herself. Not bad for single soldier. She takes money and medalion to her own pockets and picks halberd. It’s a little long, but since Claudia earned it in combat, she doesn’t want to leave it behind herself.
„Alright, let’s go to see this woman”. She said to herself.
(I will add loot to my character card)

She finally got a look at the culprit. She felt she would have remembered if she ever saw him before. He didn’t look like a run of the mill vagrant. Still, she couldn’t afford more risk to this situation.
A bad move would get Celeste hurt or killed or have him take a hostage. Still he likely knew she was the responsible party if he had been observing. And with a clear sight, she’d take a risk of casting enraged. Having him completely break from his intended plan would help. She’d need him away before she could try blasting him, and while she didn’t think she’d be able to deal with him up close provoking him that way should have the guards moving to deal with the commotion if she could force him to stall his clean get away. All in all, she had about a 60% certainty this was the best option.
Elaine Takes a Defensive stance, pointing her Sword at them letting them come at her to Block and evade their Attacks, following Up with quick lethal Counter strikes.
Perhaps she's cocky, or these men are better than they look, because as they dash forward, shouting defiance, Elaine finds herself put on the back foot. A club bounces off her leather shoulder plate, as another hits her knee, and she bites her lip 'til she tastes blood. She goes to swing her sword, but one of the men pivots, landing a hard strike on her sword hand.
Choose one crit consequence:
[] Disarm - Elaine's sword is knocked from her hand and will take time to retrieve.
[] 10 Extra Damage - Elaine keeps her grip on her sword, but her hand is mercilessly clubbed.

"Heh, guess even among the nobility, no one wants to hang around a loser. Well, no one who isn't tryin' to get their ends wet." The guard chuckles, before falling silent as his superior walks past.
The redhead continues to fail to hide her disgust for her companion, but clearly can't tell him off like she'd like to. Instead, she drinks readily, downing cup after cup. She excuses herself, blushing as the merchant gropes her as she stands, before walking out of the hall. Cerim recalls there are privies in the direction she's headed.

Giving the Elf a smile, Delphia says, "Well, then. How about we go somewhere a little more private. We wouldn't want our private lesson to be interrupted."
"Not unless you have other beauties out there in need of a lesson, too." The blonde smirks, sliding her finger away from Delphi's bikini-clad breasts, and reaching down to take her hand. "My office in the university isn't too far... Though I could spring for a room if you're that eager to learn." She purrs.

Elf grins as he sees her just start pouring the drinks into her body like she is a thrash can. How many drinks it was already?
It's dangerous to drink so much at once, elf ought to keep an eye on her. She might hurt herself and lower her sale value. Cerim gets up from the table and follows her to the privy.

"Oh, Collingworth, hm?" The woman gives Eliza a cryptic smirk. "Here." She moves out from behind the counter, leading the redheaded elf to an ornate standing mirror in the corner. "It's enchanted - got it from the magic item store around the corner." She says. "Simply look into the mirror, and it will show you your own heart's desire - which of my garments you want, and what you look like in them." The shopkeep explains. "Saves time trying on the clothes. Let me know if you need any help." She smiles and returns behind the counter.
Eliza gazes into the mirror, frowning as she just sees her reflection looking back at her. Then, to her shock, she realises the reflection isn't frowning, but smirking at her. The mirror-world version of Eliza moves out, picking out clothes and jewels from the racks. She strips, sliding away her regular clothes before donning a new outfit.
A stylish, form fitting outfit well suited to adventure.

The reflection strips again, crossing the room. Eliza looks around to see if anyone else can see the naked version of her body, but though other customers walk by the mirror as the doppleganger struts about naked, none seem to show any interest. It seems only Eliza can see.
The mirror image picks out a beautiful blue dress, putting it over her body. Then, with a smirk, she lifts her skirt and spreads her legs.
A stunning dress made of fine silk, which makes the wearer seem refined, beautiful, but also not a little bit sensual.

The doppleganger slides the dress off of her body with a smirk, as she heads to look at jewelry. She picks out a set of a earrings and broach, putting them on - with little else.
A simple but beautiful set of emeralds inlaid in jewelry, which seem to radiate with a calming energy.

The mirror Eliza admires herself for a moment, before removing the emerald jewels. She heads back to the jewelry area a second time.
Perfectly matching Eliza's hair, a set of rubies decorating some scanty robes, seem to radiate with a power that makes Eliza feel excited and energised.

Again the mirror Eliza strips down, smirking as she shows off her body. Unlike the demure original, this version of Eliza seems to flaunt her body wantonly, seeking attention of the most lustful kind. Despite the wanton nature of this woman, though, Eliza can't help but admire her confidence, even power. This version of herself seems so much more commanding, even as she seems to offer herself as an object of sexual pleasure, she seems less objectified and more powerful than the original.
Mirror Eliza finds a luscious fur coat, and puts it on - seeing no reason to put anything under it.
A long fur coat. It's certainly styish, but as the wearer tries it, they find themselves enveloped in all the warmth they might need.

Phantom Eliza drops the coat, crossing the the section showing lacy lingerie. She smirks, before sliding on a set. She drops to her hands and knees, her movements very blatantly sexual.
A set of lingerie, consisting of a bra, panties, garter belt and stockings. As scanty as it is, it perfectly frames Eliza's erotic body, 'showing off the goods' so to speak.

"Anything catch your fancy?' Eliza jumps as she hears the shop keeper call out.

"There." Ellaria points as he asks where the statue was, gesturing to an empty plinth. "The culprit, on the other hand, is a little harder to talk about." Emara frowns. "I'd like your word you won't spread word about who it is, unless it's strictly necessary for your investigation."
Lyria rolled her eyes, “I was just saying, maybe if someone seduced the boy he’d take us to the good stuff willingly. "Hell, it might be a good way to do it. A youth like that, barely into his twenties... Probably wouldn't be a difficult catch. Lauriel and Mirtha look at each other. "Seduction or stealth - your call how we go about it." Mirtha says.
"As for why we need you, the tomb isn't great for getaways. We may need a distraction to cover our escape if we get caught. And if worse comes to worse, we might have to fight." Lauriel explains.
