"Indeed. Allow me a moment to check." The elf turns around, bending forward as she opens some cabinets and examine the contents. She lays out a handful of papers, magically projected images of the properties. Spoiler: Velour Farm - 6000 Gold Owned by the once prominent Velour Family of pioneers, the farm is nestled near the edge of the frontier, beyond which is unexplored land. The grounds are incredibly spacious, but the house itself is somewhat dilapidated. Spoiler: Half-Moon Farm - 3000 Gold A bargain at 3000 gold, Half-Moon Farm's low price comes from its location in the Shadowlands - an area where day lasts half as long as it does in other places, due to some strange magical phenomena. The area is filled with strange myths and legends, but the property is large, remote, and the buildings are in fine condition. Spoiler: Elam's Rest - 10000 Gold Situated on the bountiful and fertile Plains of Elam, Elam's rest is a near perfect farm, with multiple buildings already built, and sprawling territory between it and the closest properties.
"I'm glad to hear it." Emara nods. "The idol was stolen by my daughter." She sighs. Eran's gaze travels back to Ellaria. "My other daughter." Emara shakes her head, before holding up an orb, magically projecting an image of an elvish woman with a strong resemblance to the two in the room, only wearing some sort of bone armour. Eran is taken aback a little - for an elvish woman to have two children is rare. She must be exceptionally fertile - Yselva's blessing, perhaps? Or just luck? "My youngest..." Emara sighs. "She's always been a little...willful." "You mean a slut, mother." Ellaria frowns. "I mean willful, Lari." Emara chides her daughter. "She's recently developed an appreciation for necromancy, and begun splitting from our temple. We think she took the relic for some sort of spell."
Elaine's sword clatters to the ground, but she's able to pivot. She grabs one of the thugs by the hair, and he rockets into the heavy stone emclosure. He goes limp in her hands.
The merchant takes place near the wall outside the privies. It seems he intends to wait for the redhead to come out - perhaps to make sure she doesn't run. Cerim manages to make it inside the privy without issue, the fat man checking the elf out a little. Inside, Cerim sees he's nearly alone with the redhead. A woman is clearly finished and on her way out the door. The redheaded noble, on the other hand, is not starting. She seems to be simply using the moment for some alone time, gathering her breath and wits away from the merchant.
"Doesn't it?" The elf smirks, pleased with her soon-to-be conquest. She slips an arm around Delphi's waist, leading the two of them out of the crowded inn and onto the street, heading towards the looming edifice of the university not too far away, lights shining in the night. "So, are you new to this city, dove? I don't recall seeing you before. And I think I would remember you." The blonde gives Delphi an up-down look.
The Eliza standing in the mirror gives one last smirk - self assured, confident, and worst of all knowing, before disappearing and the redhead's reflection returning to normal. "Wonderful. I'll get those for you." The shopkeep smirks, before moving from behind the counter. "You seemed quite fixated on the mirror. See a lot of outfits you like?" The woman smirks, as she uses a spell to disable some sort of security method on the emeralds, bringing them over, with a box. "Would you like them boxed up, or do you want to wear them straight away?"
(Shit, sorry, my bad.) Spoiler: Magic Roll D100 + 10 + 10 => 115 (Crit) Meira feels the magic, filled with feelings of pure anger and helplessness and betrayal, hit the target, but manages to make sure it's not aimed at Celeste. The young man screams outright, before hitting a random passer by in the face. Some market guards, already trying to get close to investigate the ruckus, spot the violence and draw their weapons. "Oh shit..." Celeste moans, trying to grab the man and stop him from fighting the armed guards.
"I uh..." Eliza paused unsure of herself before simply answering "yes. You have some exquisite items and I hope to be able to frequent here more often when I return." With the shopkeeper's second question Eliza frowned, before settling on wearing the broach and earrings. "Might as well travel as light as I can and there's no need for a box if I'm supposed to be wearing them anyway." she reasoned to herself. After settling her bill Eliza headed back outside where she set about back to the table Maelon was at earlier. "Hopefully he's done with his meal." she thought, they still had to buy the rest of their supplies.
"Get back!" Meira had to yell loudly to get through to Celeste. She didn't think the guards would really intend to kill him, but it would make things risky for him. Meira didn't really want a direct engagement either, but it definitely detracted from his plan to make a easy run. Once detained, the rest could be resolved later, but for now...she had already used quite a bit of magic at once, but aimed to cast dark bind again to steel his footing this time with him in proper sight. That would make it easier for the guards to deal with.
“Thank you, come along, Peng.” Fei orders her goblin. A little worried about leaving him all alone here, since something under the bed seems to have interested him. She didn’t want him stealing anything from their benefactor. Not when she still has a job to do.
She lets Go of her opponent and Focus on The remaining one, luring him Close to her before using her Agile Body to quickly Slide over The Coffin to The other Side where she dropped her Sword and picked it Up again, doing a wide Swing for His Body when He decides to follow her over The Stone Coffin.
Claudia lights up torch and smile to woman inside the building. „Maybe… if you don’t step outside and answer my question about Macek. You will step outside the building. It is just a matter if you will be in good health or burned in few places”. Claudia stepped away from the building, looking at possible windows and opening if woman inside decided to throw something at her. She takes shield in one hand, to protect herself. „I suggest you to do it quickly. I am not too much patient person”.
"Yes, I am new. Just got into the city from the Northlands." By the Divines this was working better than she expected! Wait, are we being followed? Delphi takes a quick look around to try and spot anyone. She IS supposed to be watching out for anyone who might want to hurt the Mature Elf Woman. Kind of hard to focus though with the feeling of the woman's hands on her skin...
The choice among those was quite simple. That, and he simply did not have the cash. "Can you tell me more about half-moon farm?" He inquired. This seemed just perfect for him... Even if it screamed a little of 'evil!' to all others. At least it would keep the nosy neighbours away.
Well, well. He was wondering if he could get her alone and the opportunity gets handed to him on the silver platter. Elf thinks a moment what to use this opportunity for. He can't really get here here and get out with that merchant at the door, not even speaking about the guards patrolling the halls. If only he could get her away from the merchant. Elf stands up from his spot and sits next to the noblewoman, speaking with a hushed voice so the merchant won't hear them chatting. "All the money, fame and titles. All worthless in the end, aren't they? There's always a scumbag that wants to control how you live the moment they can." Elf reaches into the bag and before she could reply, he hands her a couple of dried flowers. "These will give you severe food poisoning, enough to send you to infirmary. You didn't get them from me and we never spoke."
Eran chose not to comment on the little exchange between mother and daughter, instead focusing on what he had just learned. “How did she get interested in Necromancy? More importantly, do you have any idea where she went?” He needed some idea where to start looking. “Also, you said you want the relic returned, but what about your daughter? Should I try to bring her back as well, or should I let her be as long as I recover the relic?” He figured that Emara did not want her daughter dead, not to mention it would be a waste to kill a hot chick over something like this.
"I'm looking forward to seeing your cute butt back here, then." The shopkeeper chuckles, reaching out to fasten the broach and ear rings. -500 Gold + Green Broach and Earrings Heading outside, Eliza sees that Maelon is wiping his mouth, looking up and seeing her. "Oh, hey! Oh, those look really pretty on you." He smiles nervously.
Spoiler: Magic Roll D100+10+10=67 Roots once again spring from the ground, binding the young man's feet. He swings at the guards - punching one, then the other, before a pommel to the face knocks him down and he heavily falls to the cobblestones. "Oh no!" Celeste kneels down beside him.
