The Witcher - Stories from The Path RP

'You hear that?' Ard asked Abigail, 'Something's coming.' He dropped from the horse's saddle and drew his sword, looking in the direction he heard the noise drawing closer.
Abigail stays by the horse, as three blue figures emerge from a small marsh between Ard and the village. At a distance, they seem almost like children, but closer inspection reveals them to be monstrous, mangled abominations with fishlike features. They move to surround Ard, splitting up to approach him from north, west and east, with Abigail and the horse behind him. The witch closes her fists and cracks her neck. "Do you need my help with this filth, or should I keep holding the horse to make sure it doesn't bolt?"

'I should be fine,' Ard nodded to Abigail, 'Just watch out if one of them goes for you instead.'

The elf of the Hunt mumbled something under his breath and a moment later launched a cold wave at the monster to his east, exploding into a cloud of frost as it hit the creature. Firmly gripping his sword, he attacked towards the creature to his west, aiming to end it quickly before the one in the north could close in.

"Room." Lutz answered. Then he paused. "and a bottle of ale." He said putting coins on the bar, then grabbing the bottle and cup, then sitting with his companion by the table. He opened the bottle and purred both of them. "Maybe we will hear what is happening in Novigrad and what is the way. I wouldn't want to travel and by accident encounter bandit camp." He explained.
A relatively attractive barmaid approaches with the ale, and asks if they want anything else, before leaving the two be. Looking around, Lutz sees some fistfighting and gwent going on, but no one pays him any attention, that he can see. The dwarf takes a swig of his drink and nods. "Sure. Should we ask around, or just eavesdrop?"

"Yes, yes, I did say your reward is whatever you want... within reason. If this can help you gain experience as a merchant, I don't see any reason to refuse." Mirellia replied with a nod, "Very well. Where will the meeting take place? I still do have my red dress from when we departed for Novigrad, so I guess I can wear that."
"You looked great in that dress." Ashton smiles. "The meeting is taking place at a local bathhouse, an upscale one."

“Stupid tree! You weren't supposed to see!” Varrin exclaimed, keeping the act of a failed sneaking attempt as he took a single step to his right to avoid the slash. The roots sprouting from the ground would make things difficult – especially since there were likely more behind him – but he needed to make the beast follow him. “And why are you so fast? Big dumb trees like you have no right to be so fast!” He exclaimed as he turned around as fast as he could and rushed away from the leshen, trying to avoid any roots in the way and to lure the beast away from the circle.
Varrin barely manages to avoid being tripped up, as he narrowly dodges away from the leshen's claws. The creature still has one foot in the circle, as a ball of fire collides with its back, prompting something resembling a scream. The creature turns and spots Isabella, roots beginning to emerge out of the ground near her.

Lutz asks for a bowl of food. It would be good to eat before the sleep.

"Eavesdrop." He answered immediately. "I don't want anyone to know where we are going. If something drops, then good. If not, no big deal." He answered as he took a sip of ale.

"A... bathhouse?" Mirellia said in a perplexed tone, "Well, that's one way to do business. Well, I'll make sure to keep my schedule open then." She added, "But, don't think you're out of the woods just yet. We'll still do your training after the meeting."

Dammit, sis, should have waited a few more moments! Varrin cursed as he thought quickly what to do. “Hey, where are you looking, you stupid tree?” He shouted at the leshen as he pulled out a throwing dagger and threw it at whichever part of the beast's back seemed most vulnerable, trying to get the creature's attention back on him.

Covered in water as it is, the drowner is particularly effected by the blast, not fully frozen, but still hindered by the frost. Ard's sword slashes through the chest of the next creature, but as it dies, the final one is upon him, attacking with its long claws.

Ard swung around to his attacker and tried to parry the blow of the drowner's claw. Casting another spell in the elder tongue, the creature would feel weaker and more sluggish by the second as Ard kept up the spell. He aimed to kill the weakened creature quickly and then run the one affected by his frost spell through.

As Danielle walks back to the Passiflora, she feels the enchanted dildo inside her pussy stimulating her with every step. As she steps through the brothel's main doors, her cheeks are flushed, nipples erect, and she can feel her juices dripping against her underclothes.
As she makes her way in, she makes a quick bee line up stairs to her room to remove it.

"Sure." Matthias nods gravely as he rows, focused on not attracting attention from the myriad of drowners. Finally, he moors at the village's jetty, tying the boat up to one of the rungs, and holding out his hand to help Verena out of the boat.
Verena steps out of The Boat, Ignoring his gesture and doesent take his Hand.

"Thanks for The Trip. Tell Your People we are even now. But next Time they better have The means to pay Me. Im in My Hutt and move on at First Daylight..."

The barmaid brings over a steaming hot stew, and another for the dwarf, giving her customers a smile as she asks if there's anything else they need. Afterwards, the dwarf gives a nod. Looking around, Lutz sees a few people talking quietly amongst themselves. At a nearby table, the torturer hears some rough looking characters discussing some sort of planned ambush. "Fuckin' elf...our men in the swamps...White Orchard... Catch 'em by surprise."

"Apparently the sauna there is where the city's big names all go to talk privately." Ashton smiles. "Training? I wouldn't miss it, mother."

The leshen's hide sizzles and smokes as a small fire begins to burn it, though so far it's having trouble catching the rough wood alight. The creature is distracted as a knife thumps into the wood of its back, turning and making a fist to bring down on Varrin's head in a hammer blow.

Sparks fly into the air as the rough claw meets the metal of Ard's blade, before the drowner begins to wither back, visibly seeming to shrink, before it's cut down with a swift strike. The final one, still affected by the frost spell, has its own attack interrputed as it's impaled. "Not bad." Abigail remarks as the monster slinks to the ground. "Those were some...interesting spells you used."

"I'll let them know, both things." He pulls back his hand to scratch at his head. "I-uh, suppose you don't want anyone disturbing you in the hut?"

"Apparently the sauna there is where the city's big names all go to talk privately." Ashton smiles. "Training? I wouldn't miss it, mother."

"Good. Now if that's everything, I'd like to rest now." Mirellia nods, pointing at the door for her son to leave if he had nothing else to discuss. And if he leaves, the sexy milf cleans herself up, and rests for the day unless someone else knocks on her door.

Burning with need, she finds her way blocked by a young looking courtesan. "Ey, Samuel told me to let you know when your customer got here? He's at the bar, now."
"D..dammit." Not having time to finish herself off or stop, she tries to keep a straight face. "Thank you." Her body was still really tensed, but there was no time to take care of it. She needed to approach him before someone else did.
