The Witcher - Stories from The Path RP

@moonblack "You call me trai- Aah! Okay, Okay!" The captive squirms under the influence of Ard's spell, as Mirellia passes around the food. "Erzabar's Point! The ambush will happen there! Eredin will approach the king, claiming he has urgent news, before we attack the front and rear of the column. While the king's distracted, Eredin will kill him, and bring back the mistress' head, claiming that she was an assassin conspiring with the king's enemies." He overshares, hoping that the flood of information will buy him his life.
Varrin gave the noblewoman a grateful nod and began eating the food he had been handed. Though after hearing the whole "bring back the mistress' head" thing he paused to glare angrily at the captive elf.

After taking a few deep breaths and calming down the young man resumed eating the food, letting his companions ask any further questions and ultimately decide the captive's fate.

'An interesting plan,' Ard said, his hand hovering over the elf's crotch and piercingly cold air flowing down towards his underwear, 'How many men does Eredin have for this attack?'

Trista nod with gratitude for meal and get to eat too, leaving elf torture their prisoner.

After taking a few deep breaths and calming down the young man resumed eating the food, letting his companions ask any further questions and ultimately decide the captive's fate.
The elf wisely shuts up at the glare Varrin gives him. As the noble stops to eat, he finds that the food is both delicious and strangely invigorating, refreshing his tired body.

"W-Wait..." Ard's former comrade looks up at him in fear. "Two squads! Two squads!" From Ard's own history, the elf knows that that's roughly about two dozen men.

Like Varrin, Trista feels the meal refreshing and reinvigorating her strength, a godsend after the strain of so many signs and potions earlier. The sharp pains she'd been feeling in her stomach diminish to the point that she barely notices them.

'Hmm, any ideas about the king's guard?' Ard asked, his hand staying were it was, 'You must know your enemies strength, right?'

While he asked, he tried to think of a short cut to the road between Erzabar's Point and the summer palace. Maybe they could intercept the king before they reached the point.

"Perhaps twice our number, but we have the element of surprise, and Eredin is far stronger than that weakling who calls himself king, so we'll slaughter them nonetheless." He groans at the cold, as Ard thinks. Looking back, he remembers playing in the area as a child, remembers a rocky cliff he climbed and fell off, almost dying and only narrowly being saved by Evir'i. There's a rocky decline that would act as a shortcut and get the group to the king, without risking going past Eredin's ambush point, but it's rough terrain, and could possibly be dangerous.

'We will see about that,' Ard told the elf, before he started to securely bind him to a tree and gag his mouth.

He then joined the others to get a bit of drink and food in his belly. He looked to Abigail, 'How are you holding up? I suspect this was not the way you imagined you would see my world.'

The elf wisely keeps any closing remarks to himself, as Ard affixes the gag. Heading to where the group sits, eating, Ard sees the rejuvenating effect that the food has on them, and soon experiences it for himself, relishing the feeling after so long in another word. Abigail nods, in between bites. "It wasn't, but then again, I'm not sure I planned to come here at all." She smiles. "Still, it's not your fault. I chose to come with you, and besides, it's interesting to see a place so different from my home. Seeing the visions of it was one thing, but to actually be here is fascinating."

'If... no, when we have rescued the king, you are welcome to stay a little longer. See the sights and what have you, though, a fair warning, people here are not really friendly to humans,' Ard smiled at Abigail.

Mirellia silently listens to the Ard interrogate the elf, as she eats and drinks, focused on restoring her stamina. Since she had no idea what the topography of the area is, all she could do was watch their prisoner in an attempt to catch any lies he might give.

Trista was suprised by effect of food, it like some kind of detoxid or cure for her body, but how it works she have no idea.
"What kind food is this?" She asked herself as she eaten.

As the group chats and eats, Trista begins to notice a peculiar cold rise through the air, from the prisoner. Looking over, she sees him grinning.

Lutz paused.

"I am sure that some other mage could do that, and would certainly be more trustworthy." He said, making sure to make the elf more desperate and maybe say something more. He looked at the noblewoman, waiting to see what she would do.
"That won't work!" She shouts. "It needs to be someone with the blood of the Aen Aelle! Unless you plan to kidnap a member of the Wild Hunt, I'm your only choice!" The term Aen Aelle means nothing to Lutz, though he's heard of the Wild Hunt.

Lutz's boss looks between the two of them, remaining silent for the moment.
