Gambio's maps were always helpful, figured it could help here.

I don't think we fully explored the first cave since we got ambushed by Breaker, it could be worth a second check. We didn't find the second resource point, but I imagine it's on the goblin side.

Did we identify the "A smooth pretty stone", probably just a stone but figured we should investigate if we haven't already. Further more, I don't think we identified the items given to us from the past run, I know they are all cursed but an animated golem could be very helpful as a tank.

The other "Forward" path (not towards Izzy) is possibly the way to the Deep, I think we should check this out first before going to Izzy and see if we can help his parents. I'd love for Goma to chew him out.
 
We know what the inherited items do, we made them. The whip is basically a weaker version of the one we just got from Breaker; the Golem Tome lets the user make/control golems but imbues a cruse so I don’t want to use it on Take or Malphiel; the dress is cursed as hell but also provides buffs, and golems are immune to curses so it was supposed to be for a golem; and the potion gives the user a monstrous appearance, which was supposed to buff the whip. I don’t see any being useful currently.

As for the path to The Deep, the path is at the very back of the goblin caves. We went there last time. We need to beat Izzy to access it and let Goma and Isalia up. So I think we need to move on.
 
To clarify, do not assume the goblin cave layout is exactly the same as it was before. Partially because I didn't fully remember it and partly because it was a lot less segmented originally the layout has been changed.
 
The stone is clearly more powerful than Nagi, it's mysteries will remain a secret for now. I forgot to ask if cloak was a defensive or utility spell, whichever it is we should try to upgrade it with the boons.

I'm impressed the horny guards are currently looking at the Iralian squad behind Take and think they got this. Their guns don't have a safety mode than I'm aware of.

Negotiations just end up with everyone losing to lust, so this time we shouldn't hold back. Take a warning shot in case they don't understand the firepower they are against, if they want to surrender they can but they must leave the cave and not go back to Izzy. Be cautious if they leave as they need to pass the group, assume they could try to trick us. Last time the cultist just had a knife, however it's possible some could have some form of magic (lust or no) so better to be cautious.

If they want to fight: Spread out, Take cloak and strike when needed, Mal should stay back and only engage if they close the distance as I'm worried about her lust state. Up to the other voices, but maybe we should start feeding the spear? If they are going to die anyway they may as well bolster our strength.

After they are taken care of I think we should investigate the left path first. Izzy will already know we are here regardless so best to explore our options.
 
Given the firepower we have, and the fact that the cultists should be aware of what we’re capable of, I’d say it’s time to feed the spear. Malphiel should use the usual combo, and Take should use the spear with Cloak and offensive magic as necessary. The Iralian squad can just open fire.
 
The cultists seem ready to die for Izzy and not willing to listen reason. The spear may well be kinder option than the whip.
 
A +1 per person consumed is pretty nice, if not a bit unsettling. How literal are we taking the "defeated in combat" for the spear? If we eat the two after combat does it count?
 
Only Malphiel and Take need relief, right? Once the Iralians are free and can keep watch, it should be fine for that. As for the cultists, is there a way to check for magical or psychic control? If they’re doing this of their free will I have no issues with feeding them to the spear, but Izzy does have some stuff in his genes that could let him control others. Because I don’t think we know the full extent of his abilities, the only things we’ve seen are his wings and strength.
 
I agree with Emmie.

After relief I still think it will be best to explore the left path and see if we can get Izzy's parents. I'm not feeling too confident against lust enemies since it seems to be affecting Mal and Take way too much. Lets assume that path is going to be booby trapped, Sally should take point with her advanced optics.
 
Mal, what reason do you have to keep him? Sounds like he has convinced you that he is friendly just to survive as he hasn't spoke a word to anyone else. I'm willing to let Mal keep her new "friend" if she is willing to use the tormentor's chain on him. What do you think about that Bull guy? Want to be Mal's slave forever? I think it's better to ask and not have "unwilling" slaves... he would keep his personality/person when turned right?

The resource point should be next, Maie is there any dangers from these? If not lets take everything there and head towards the male voices... although if we do have our willing slave Bull then he should either 1, tell us what is up ahead so we can prepare or 2, go ahead alone to do a "checkup" while the team gets in position to strike.
 
Oh I thought Take and Malphiel were gonna fuck each other, not the cultists. It might be worth testing the effects of the enslaving whip to see what it looks like in practice.
Also, the supply point should be safe, I think only the Chosen and their companions can access them, but I might be misremembering that. But let’s grab it now, even if I don’t think any of it will be immediately useful it will certainly be useful long term. And we can continue advancing in. It might be best to go down the path that doesn’t have Izzy’s throne room so we can clear out all the other cultists before we confront him.
 
OK, we got the gear challenge done.

Take, ask him if he would like to while away a bit of time and tell us how he got involved with Izzy's cult. It may be the best we have to determine how they are controlled.

If he is not willing to talk, pretend to withdraw. Then cloaked Take can open with a surprise attack with the spear, and other can join if the surprise fails.
 
A quick chat may tell us something, but if he doesn't want to talk I would suggest we retreat and talk to Bull to see if he wants to join our party via the chains. If so we can use him to trick the guard before we strike.

I feel we have no effective counter to a crossbow bolt other than taking him by surprise via cloak.
