The woman paused, leaving the papers on desk, before turning to face Chloe.
"Extremely helpful you say..." A small smirk on her lips. "But not in filling papers for the library card, I would guess?"

I lean over the woman’s shoulder, my breast brushing against her. “We did start to fill it out, but we became distracted. I meant to return to finish it, but I’ve never had the time.” I say before looking her in the eye suggestively. “Maybe she disposed of my half-finished form. You could help me start a new one?”

The woman smiled as she looked at Chloe. Suddenly, there was a paper in front of her eyes.
"Please fill in the form and leave it at the box." The woman said as she got up. "Someone will check it once at later date~" She said in friendly and respectfull tone, even if it was laced with something akin to disgust...

I look at her cooly and take the papers. Frigid bitch, I could have used a quick sup from you.
“Of course. I appreciate your help.” I what I squeeze out through my fangs.

Still smiling the woman got up.
"If you leave papers filled up, I am sure they will be processed fast and could be picked up somewhere in... Next two weeks?" She hummed, a smirk still on her lips.

My face sours, realizing the woman is being a bitch to me. I quickly recover and say sweetly. “A couple of weeks. That seems very slow and inefficient. Perhaps I should speak to my uncle Hector about this. He donates quite a large sum to your library. I’m sure he could expedite the process. I will need to give him your name. Miss…”

A frown showed on the woman's face as she looked at Chloe.
"I am not familiar with the name." She said after a moment. "The government sponsors this library." She paused, weighing her words. "You have a certain... accent. Might you be a tourist?" She asked curiously.

“I’m not from here, no,” I reply. “Just recently moved.”
My tone grows more sinister and pointed as I continue. “I know some of your money comes from the government. But some private trusts and endowments pay for a lot of things. Should those be cut, the library would need to reconsider its current staffing situation.”

The woman tilted her head as she looked at Chloe.
"Now, that is a threat, if I heard one." She stated. She pursed her lips in a thin line, as the threat seemed to carry weight... But not that much of weight, as Chloe thought it would.

“I think you misunderstand me. Sorry, my grasp of your language is not the best. I was merely stating a fact,” I say, choosing my words carefully, wondering who this bitch thinks she is. I have half a mind to rip her throat out and drink deep. The scolding I would get from Clara would be worth it. Instead I decide to channel my inner ice queen. “But do tell me, is all customer service here so rude? I can’t imagine a lowly librarian acting like you in my country.”

She blinked, looking more confused, then offended.
"Customer service? Lowly?" She spoke, as if tasting the words. "You... Are from United States, I take it? Yes... I would imagine it would be like that, there, wouldn't it? And you don't see anything wrong with that?" She asked, something of a resignation entering her voice... No, a disappointment. "Rules are made to be obeyed, so are procedures. Maybe this country was like US, running on corruption and bribes, but this is a past we are leaving behind us." She explained.

I turn in my library card request. “Fine then. I’ll await your process to be completed. Now if you don’t mind I think I’ll go to the reference section.”
I turn and head out the door.

"Of course, miss." The woman got up, putting the papers on the desk. "Please follow me, I will take you to reference sections." She said as she started leading the blond through the library. Soon, She stopped near short shelves.
"Here we are." The woman said as she waved her hand at the furniture. "Do you need aid?" She asked, her tone neutral.

“No, I think I’ve taken up enough of your time. I can handle it from here,” I say dismissively, ready to be free of this harpy.

The woman, smiled lightly and nodded her head, respectfully.
"Of course." She said as she got up.
The two exited the room.
"Well then, ma'am. I wish you a good stay in the library." The woman said as she made her way back.

I head to the reference section a bit perturbed. Who did that bitch think she was. I could only hope Lexi took took the bait and was either waiting for me or soon to arrive at the reference section.

Chloe's little plan seemed to have worked, as when she arrived at the section, she found Lexi by one of the shelves, working.

I smile when I see Lexi. After the excruciating ordeal with the other woman I am relieved to see my fascination. I walk over to her, lean over her shoulder, and whisper. “Next time don’t leave menwirh such a shrew.”

The woman turned around, almost startled.
She frowned.
"She... ain't that bad." Then she smiled. "Maybe... little overprotective~" She looked around, bitting her lip.

I walk up to Lexi and lean against her. My body pressed
to hers. “Overprotective? Is she your mother?”
I giggle. “But don’t worry. I would take good care of you.”
