"Tatsu!" One of the gang members gives a shrill scream, as an arterial spray of blood begins to spurt from the sumo's neck, and he collapses to the ground beside her. The scream attracts more criminals, and at least ten pour out from other rooms in the warehouse, dropping down to the ground floor around her. Circling around her rear and flanks, the wannabe yakuza prepare to attack. The leader, still grinning, shouts "She barely stopped Tatsu, she's just an amateur. Take her down, but don't ruin her looks, and you'll all get a turn." The men, riled up, attack from all angles.

As they charge Kyouka, four swordsmen move ahead of the rest, attacking her from the north, south, east and west.

Kyouka gulps, even though she had a grin on. Anyone perceptive enough, will notice how she's "terrified" of the sudden increase in numbers. Then as the four men charged in, the red head charges for the man on her north. However instead of clashing swords, she sidesteps away, "accidentally" tripping him onto the other three's blades. If it works, Kyouka uses the confusion to deliver amateurish slashes toward her confused opponent.

Midori chose her words very carefully, thankful for the times she had helped her elder sister deal with bandits. She would likely be a lot less calm otherwise. “I realize you are angry, but... it seemed to me like the man did not mean to insult you, he just spoke without thinking. Perhaps you could give him a chance to apologize, to show that he is sorry and has learned his lesson? After that, should he ever make the same mistake again, he will have no excuse.” She suggested, trying to calm down and placate the angry man, and hoping to avoid further incident.

The three men come forwards to attack, but before she can stop them, the redhead feels hand from behind her slip under her arms, pulling her against her captor's chest and restricting her movement. Her attackers grin, one man grabbing at her breasts.

"No, the lord will be coming here. Wait for him in the city." She moves forwards, regaining her fearsome expression from when there were still other men in the room. Grabbing him by the ear, she painfully ranks him to the door. "NOW GET OUT, YOU PATHETIC FREAK!" Foot on his ass, Lady Otsu kicks Eikyo through the doors, and out of her office. As her guards walk up to drag Eikyo out, he sees Otsu subtly wink, and a partially recovered Xia smiling and waving, before the doors slam shut, and he's dragged out of the Otsu Clan palace. Back through the immense garden he's pulled, though the guards are more gentle now that their mistress is out of sight, before they shove him out onto the street. One of the guards says "Sorry, mate. Hope things pick up for you." He nods sympathetically, and then the massive gates of the Otsu estate close, leaving Eikyo alone on the streets of the capital.

He decides to act like he's cut off and adrift, wandering around for a bit before approaching the houses of several lesser lords to try to get a job, deliberately sabotaging his own attempts: asking for too high a position at one house; deliberately underselling his abilities at another. Eventually, he approaches House Yokuboo to ask them about getting a position within their internal bureaucracy...
