Yatsebe smiles. "Th-thank you. Err, I'm not really that interesting. I'm just the daughter of one of the patriarch's brothers, who likes archery and big titted cousins." She grins, regaining some of her sense of humour. "I...I'm not really sure I should talk about the family." She looks around to check that no one's listening. "Well, to be honest, I don't like the patriarch. He seems desperate for a war to start, so he can win glory in battle. Nothing wrong with glory, but I'm not sure it's worth the death. Lady Gracia, well, she's beautiful and intelligent, but she seems very ruthless. Some say that it's really her that runs the clan, while her husband trains to fight, but that's not something that should be said loudly."
She checks again. "My other uncles are fine, if a little odd. Yoshioka is obsessed with finding the best female warrior in Hattori, so he can create a worthy heir to his dojo with her. Daito mostly just enjoys fighting and women, and does what the patriarch says so he can have enough money to pursue vices." Midori detects a blush as Yatsebe begins talking about her next uncle. "Kiyoda is the youngest, but he's not around here much. He fell in love with some beauty on the ship ride here, and they've been basically inseparable." There's a hint of jealousy there in her voice.
