"Hmm... never heard of him." Vanessa added insult to injury, before knocking him out. "Maybe I should have asked for their hideout location too." She said to herself, as she checks out the injured man. Or rather, a boy whose just become a man judging from his age. "You're." She sighed, sadly she couldn't off anything to wipe his blood with. "Well, you're safe now. And if I were you, I'd get out of town, before this Horatio Melchett sends more men after you... wait." Vanessa was about to send the young man away, until she realized he must know where this boss is located. "Do you know where their hideout is?" She asked, wearing a bit of a feisty grin as she grows excited at the prospect of taking out a gang all on her own.
The billionaire drinks as well, and indeed, it doesn't seem poisoned - actually, it's pretty good. "I prefer the people I meet with not to have too much time to prepare - it helps you know who you're really dealing with. And I have a...date...tomorrow."
"Yeah!" The youth perks up as he realises he can be helpful. "I was just there, before...well..." He gestures to his face. "The Melchett auction house - I'll lead you there."
With the two in place, she figured now would be the time she had to make herself known. She wasn’t exactly in a rush, but she had hoped they’d both have weakened each other if there was no clear winner yet. She made her way down the ladder and into the base.
“Sounds good, let's do it!” Azura nodded, then paused. “Speaking of powers, what are yours? I'm curious how similar our powers are...” She was genuinely curious.
"I see..." Faye said as she came to understand the man's point. His comment on a date not so much. "I hope you will make an appointment before we meet next time." She said as she put the glass on the desk. "I will not be holding you, Mr. Arch. You should get a good night's sleep before your... date." Faye said as got up.
"Melchett auction house." Vanessa hummed, trying to think if she's been there before. Until the youth offered to lead her there, "Can you even walk straight?" She raised an eyebrow, "And no offense, but I think it'll be too dangerous for you. So just tell me where it's located, and go to a clinic."
Descending the ladder, she finds herself in a fairly spacious base, with some decently high-tech equipment, and monitors along the wall projecting false sunlight. "You!" On either side of the room are the two heroes, both injured. Ryota, who made the aforementioned comment, limps - his leg clearly broken, while Finch has two deep cuts on his chest, his blood blending in with his red outfit. "Friend of yours?" He grunts.
"Alright!" Sapphira says excitedly. "Oh, me? I have some illusion magic, and I can fly. Since you got Esmerelda's power's, I'm guessing your an enchantress?"
"...Indeed. Enjoy your night." The man nods, and turns and leaves without another word, leaving the necklace behind. For now, T'yala is left alone in her office, her secretary and staff not bothering her.
"Y-Yeah, don't worry!" He groans as he picks himself up. "N-No, I have to show you. It, uh... It's hard to find." He says, unconvincingly. Thinking back, Vanessa definitely knows the name of the establishment - though she's never been there. It's supposed to house many valuable antiques.
"Haahn." Vanessa sighed, seeing how eager he was, sending him away might just make him sneak in while she's fighting. "Fine, you can lead the way. But don't expect me to carry you. And once we're there, I want you to leave immediately, understand?" She set some ground rules, as she lets the youth take her to the auction house.
From what she saw, it told her enough. He was having a lot of trouble handling just a particularly well equip and trained human. He might not have been competent, but he was a lot more durable than that before. He probably can’t access his full abilities here. And apparently can’t just do that thing where he suddenly gets a power that he never had before on the spot as soon as he’s losing that comes out of nowhere. Both good news for her. The situation left her deciding on her approach. To their confusion, the best response was to respond with confusion of her own. “Babe? You’re seriously hurt.” She kept her statements vague, not really acknowledging one or the other. “I thought this was supposed to be easy. He wasn’t supposed to show up like this.” As she feigned surprise and panic, it was partly for her to instigate the hostility between each other, as she took advantage of the underground’s base design, to start to lightly gas it from the top. They were already weak and on edge, so sudden exposure to the hyper aggression strain would most likely work, and the lack of proper ventilation mean they’d be inhaling it pretty extensively.
“Sounds like our powers are similar - I too can use illusion magic. I can fly as well, but only for a limited time, then I need to renew the spell. Plus various other useful things, though nothing too flashy. And yes, I can enchant stuff too. After we have rescued Esmerelda I can enchant something for you, if you want.” Azura offered. “Anyway, we should probably get this rescue mission started!” She was starting to get a little excited.
As the man left, Fayes stood still for a moment, contemplating the man's actions... something rubbed her wrong about the entire encounter. She just couldn't put her finger on what... She moved her hand over the case with the pure-gold necklace and shivered as she felt its effect. She quickly put the case on one of the shelves. She then returned to the place where Arch was sitting and made sure that the man has not left any device that would help him break into her computer. That done she wondered what she could do... go back to fighting crime, or finish the paperwork in the office... or she could drop with a visit to the villain who captured her. She shivered and hugged herself at the memory. The phantom pains and pleasures were still rolling through her body - the feeling of suction cups attached to her tits, milking her mercilessly, the feeling of crop landing on her ass and breasts, the thrusts of the golden dildo into her pussy hitting her womb, the way the bindings tightened around her wrists and ankles, the way the rope choked her, the way the villain pulled her hair and slapped her- She quickly shook her head. To much damn gold tonight. She sat by her computer and started planning for her new team. She would need candidates, and a plan... how should she go about it. With her mind set, she started working.
Squidlock laughs, another, smaller tentacle extending from his body to snake around and begin teasing one of her erect nipples as the one between her legs reaches the source of her own slickness. It begins to rub its length against her pussy, tortuously teasing her with what is soon to come and further spreading its arousing fluids directly to her sexual core. "You really are a foolish novice," he says with a shake of his head, "If you were a real sorceress of any merit, you would know about the kind of being I serve... and how they are beyond petty mortal values of 'good' and 'evil'." Yet another tentacle lashes out, this time to give her a harsh spank on those thick butt cheeks. "Though agents such as MYSELF on the other hand..."
Like with Infinity an hour ago, Jennifer knew for her own dignity and self-worth she should have done something about the way Hammer just muscled her into the seat next to him. She should have slapped him, or told him off, or got up, or hit him with a psychokinetic blast, anything to show him that she would not permit him to treat her in such a way. But that would have been counter productive and perhaps disastrous to her mission. She was there to make contacts and taking any of the aforementioned actions would likely backfire on her. At least that was how she justified her lack of action. But looking up at him and seeing how he regarded her, a predator ready to devour its prey, a nagging part of her knew the truth. She felt small, weak, helpless and fucking aroused! If she'd worn panties they would have been soaked through. Jenny cursed her body for betraying her as it had and she tried to use her anger at herself to counter her lust. "Just give him a fake name. Easy." Jennifer thought to herself. "I-I'm Jenny. Jenny Foxx." she answered. "GodfuckingdamnitJenny!" She'd been pulled to his left side, and despite herself she curled her body in towards him slightly. Unconsciously, her left hand rested on his upper thigh. "I'm new here."
As expected, the auction house wasn't hard to find at all. It stands several blocks away, in a nicer area of town, a tall gothic structure of stone and wood. Outside stand two men wearing suits, their bodies thickset. Spoiler: Awareness Roll D100: 71+10 (Perception skill) Looking at the bulges in their jackets, Vanessa's pretty certain they're both armed.
Spoiler: Deception Roll D100: 34+10 (Persuasion Skill)=44 (Minor Failure) As she makes her bluff, both men look at her, and then each other in suspicion, but neither make any moves, keeping wary now that they're not sure who's who. "That woman... She's evil! A villain!" Ryota grunts. "I gathered..." The hero breathes out in response. "But are you, too?" Malady thinks she's safe for now, but if she tries to gas the room, both heroes will probably try to stop her.
Once they arrived, "Alright, you can leave now. Go to a clinic to have your wounds checks." Vanessa tells the youth to leave. Taking note that the guards were armed, she knew bullets didn't affect her, but the same couldn't be said for her guide. The heiress watches him leave, though she doesn't bother ensuring he actually left the area. But once the youth, whose name she didn't even bother to ask, was gone. Vanessa springs into action, using her powers to move at immense speeds. She hoped to knock the guards unconscious before they even realize what's going on.
