Name: Guilog, Wisp of the Dying Soul

    Avatar’s powers:
Guilog's ethereal scream assaults mortal minds with the overwhelming, unfathomable thoughts, visions, and sensations within her tumultuous mind. Exposure to the painful psychic Cacophony causes mortal minds to completely shatter.

As the greatest of the wisps by far, Guilog commands absolutely Mastery of the Air. At her strongest, she can create gusts of wind miles wide which move at hundreds of miles per hour, and she can be precise enough to suck the air from a single mortal's lungs, suffocating them.

    Avatar:

    AVATAR.jpeg
Resplendent and radiant, her avatar is explicitly design to inspire awe and respect, but imperfections hinting to her true horrifying nature are easy to see, if a non-believer retains their wits for long enough to notice.

    Empowerment:
Guilog's houses of worship must be great pillars which touch the sky--bright beacons to all the souls nearby.

While she is easily able to destroy the minds of mortals, Guilog gains no power from such husks. No, her worship must be done by those with powerful, intact wills if she is to gain strength from it. The stronger the will of the follower, the more their worship empowers Guilog.

    Divine powers:

Guilog's understanding of the mortal mind allows her to manipulate those near a devout follower. She can temporarily erode their willpower using an aura of suggestibility. In the right hands, a single suggestible mortal soul can change the world.

A weaker form of her command over the winds can be channeled through her worshipers. While not able to cause large-scale destruction like Guilog's avatar, smaller uses such as a shield of wind around a follower require only a modicum of the power wielded by her--a small enough fraction to avoid burning the souls of her most devout.

Through her status as the wisp, Guilog can summon her Minions--her will made manifest--near her followers.

    Blessings:

The most devout of Guilog's cult, once they have proven themselves to be true believes in her "radiance," are granted the ability to dazzle and hypnotize other mortals. Only a suggestible victim and a point of focus are needed to begin the slow process of corrupting the mind with a minimal amount of assistance from Guilog.

Guilog's influence over the skies can also extend to these most loyal worshipers. While they do not gain the ability to directly wield the air (though perhaps they will once she is stronger), they can manipulate the local weather, calling rainclouds from the winds or banishing them to rain elsewhere.

    Prophet:
    PROPHET Resized.jpg
A young boy, having only just reached eighteen mortal years of age mere weeks ago, ventured to his orphanage through the dead of night. He had been visiting his parents' grave for one final time before he was to become a soldier--the same profession which killed his father and mother. They died defending the town from a bandit raid years ago. The same raid which stole his eye. Desperate and fearful, his soul cried for a savior from his fated death in battle. A small, blue ball of light answered his silent pleading. It lead him through the woods to a bog. Waiting for him, floating above the brown, muddy water, was Guilog.

    Dominion:
An area which her worshipers consecrate, especially if it is within a temple high in the air, may bring two remarkable changes. First, mortal beings are granted the ability to fly within the area. This skill requires practice to perform, but is undeniably useful and entertaining.

Second, mortals within the area are more susceptible to becoming entranced, whether by flashing strobe lights, floating will-o-the-wisps, or the purposeful and directed efforts of a follower.

    Minions:
    Will-o-the-wisps
are small, normally blue, balls of ghostly light which float through the air. These manifestations of Guilog's multiplicative desires and thoughts are sentient enough to be left to their own devices. They usually follow Guilog's orders, but even her own mind's hidden depths can struggle against her conscious will. These lights are able to entrance weak-willed mortals with their ethereal flame and gentle movement. If a will-o-the-wisps manages to touch a mortal--a difficult feat considering the slow speed of movement the lights possess--the mortal absorbs the will-o-the-wisp into themself, allowing the ghostly thing to possess the weak-willed and influence the strong-willed. These creatures are not entirely defenseless from a distance, however. They can manifest weak illusions such as hiding their presence, and they have a small amount of control over the air--enough to batter a mortal with numerous small cuts and scratches.

Underworld: (The domain of the dark god, created to dark god's liking. It's a place where dark god's followers go after the death... It can be desert, forest, caves, floating islands in clouds, volcanic caves, there can be dungeons, sex/torture devices, gladiator pits... but what is it for the souls of dark gods followers? Will their souls be morfed here to their liking? Fucked and abused by the minions for eternity? That's for the dark god to decide...)

Guilog's domain is one of peaceful contentment, so long as the denizens remain in her favor. For those souls which are especially liked by the Great Wisp, she may even offer to address any lingering concerns carried from the mortal realm. However, at the slightest hint of disobedience, she doesn't hesitate to make a soul's next few months of existence (on their understanding of time) an unceasing, living nightmare until they beg for forgiveness.

I am asking here, because I think this question is kinda important for everyone involved.

If two gods have the same way of getting empowered or the actions required are so close that it is a blurry line, will someone gain more power than the other? Will only the god, who the follower swore allegiance to, get more powerful? Or are both gods getting equally empowered?

It's alien, unclear about her objective... it's interesting...

The domain just asks for accidents - followers flying around and then being entranced into crashing :)
The minions seem to be rather powerful in their own way.
    Accepted!

There has to be a name associated with a prayer... the person is not a follower if the person doesn't pray to god but instead to aspect of many gods... if the god decides to answer, it will not be helping it's follower...

[Glad to see this is still up! Sorry for my late response, let me know what you think! Kind of a fallen/possessed goddess spreading her corruption to her followers and the rest on the pantheon]

Name: Masque The Corrupting/Soltari the Overwhelming Beauty
    Avatar’s powers/form:
    - Shard of the Masque: Create a potent shard of the Masque that will swiftly warp and corrupt a person or an area. It is created by profaning a relic or idol of another god. The power of which is directly proportinal to the original amount of faith invested in the icon. For example, a corrupted pendant from a forsworn follower will not be as powerful as a ritual ground forsworn by an entire coven or parish.

Avatar: (The Masque has no form, being born a lesser, minor thing from the foul depths of the void, It has clawed power by hijacking and possessing other god or demigods, slowly accruing more and more power. It's current host is the minor goddess of light and order, Soltari, Sent to defeat the Masque's previous host, Vruta the Brute. The bright and good Soltari did, however was not aware Vruta was merely a vehicle for Masque who slid into and dominated the weakened heroes mind. Masque however is more a collection of ambitions and hunger though and despite wholly corrupted, Soltari's original personalty is still intact. She is kind, brave and wholly debauched, hungry to warp and corrupt her previously good and honourable worshipers to empower herself.)
    upload_2022-11-4_9-23-10.png
    Empowerment:
-When a follower of another god forswears their god and instead swears fealty to Masque. Masque only gains from power from worshipers of other gods secretly praying to them instead.
-Also gains power from profaning other god's holy relics, either by corrupting idols or places of worship or even rewriting religious texts and procedures to unwittingly dupe worshipers into empowering Masque.

    Divine powers:
    upload_2022-11-4_10-8-2.png
    Blessings:
These are used by the Masque in her disguise to bless followers of Soltari, disguising her blessings as good and heroic while using them to secretly corrupt.
    - Empower follower: Blesses a follower who prostates themselves before Masque. The become stronger, more beautiful and a subject of lust and attraction as their soul is twisted into a Shard of the Masque.
    - Golden Tongue: Blessed follower becomes supernaturally insightful and persuasive however the more they use their power, the more they desire to use it for their own gain.
Prophet: Celine Innotie. Formerly a pious and good mortal empowered by Soltari, a humble and dedicated healer whose divine link to Soltari was hijacked by the Masque to twist and corrupt the decent woman's mind. Since then she's become much more arrogant and self serving, all hidden behind a veil of good intentions, she sweeps from town to town, preaching her heretical teachings.
    upload_2022-11-4_10-14-11.png

    Dominion:
Soltari's corrupted light takes a deep golden hue that loosens inhibitions and raises suggestibility. Men and Woman find themselves more easily aroused and taking on more pleasing forms, growing more handsome and pure on the outside while inwardly their souls darken.

Buildings and items grow richer, more ostentatious as the inhibitions find themselves growing vainer and more demanding, the food and fields grow more bountiful and richer tasting, the landscapes more vivid,
Minions: Soltari's fallen angels and servant's, all individuality stripped away as Masque forged his will over their minds and heads. Each one wears a great shard of Masque, their wills obliterated and each one only a pure extension of the Masque's grand will. They are divine mindless automations, all personalty and ambitions gone replaced with Masque's will, even more than Soltari, who still retains her own warped mind. This is Masque in their purest form.
    -Aura of Depravity
    -Divine strength
    -Midas touch
    -Aura of Beauty
    -Hive Mind

    upload_2022-11-4_10-26-0.png
    upload_2022-11-4_10-26-37.png

Underworld: Soltari's great bright halls. Formerly a peaceful paradise for her followers now echoes constantly with the sound of bliss and pleasure. Boiling golden metalfalls, pour from the heavens to crash down into the souls of her warped and corrupted followers, rutting and fucking in huge orgies, their bodies immune ass Soltari's corrupted will coats them, bathes them, encases them in frozen sculptures of bliss at the moment of climax.

Wow. Where did you get the pictures?

What kind of corruption do you have in mind? Twisting body? Twisting soul/desires?

It's more logical to divide blessings into:
    -strength
    -beauty + persuation

Minions - so they are basically mindless automatons following set of behaviours? OKay. But you will have to explain their powers :)

So, basically, followers are fucking then changed into sculptures, until underworld is filled with sculptures - do I understand it correctly?

Oops, Sorry I wasn't sure how in depth you wanted me to go in case I made it too OP!

It's an AI generated imagine using Novel AI as Merkos inspired me! They all are actually!

I might actually change Soltari's original domain to light and beauty which has since been corrupted by Masque into a her dogmatic and depraved version of beauty.

As for the Shard of the Masque, I was thinking maybe both? Stage one is becoming more vain and shallow and greedy and obsessing more about their appearence, stage two is having their new greedy and arrogant persona subsuming them, their bodies shifting and changing to become more beautiful, their minds falling more into depravity and finally in stage three, they become fully narcissistic and megalomaniacal, fully convinced that their brand of beauty is the correct will of Soltari, their now gorgous bodies will begin to transform into precious metal's, gold, silver or platinum festooned with rare gems as they ascend.

How quickly this all happens I suppose depends on yourself and whether we want a slow burn or not?

Aura of Depravity/Aura of Beauty - A large area around them is coated in fine gold motes of light, anyone in this area slowly ends up becoming more and more handsome and/or beautiful, their blemishes and imperfections fading away as their standards and inhibitons plummet. Men will become tall, handsome and sculpted, Woman will become sensual, voluptuous and beautiful all the while their cocks and pussies grow harder and wetter until exploding into a orgy of gorgeous, sexual creatures. This would be a perfect time for the Angel's to begin preaching to them, swaying them over to the side of Soltari as the warped goddess begins to infiltrate their minds and bodies.

However, if Soltari takes a particular liking to a scene or tableau, she may have the servants use their Midas Touch and freeze them forever, transmuting them into an impossibly detailed sculpture made of the finest and most beautiful of metals, freezing the scene forever to be admired by her and her alone.

Divine Strength - They really strong. Also maybe durable as well? I don't know how OP we're allowed to be!

Hivemind - All of Soltari's fallen are mere extensions of her will, they were in the past all different facets of beauty and art with distinct personalities and traits but all of that has been washed away by Soltari's one, singular vision. As such, she knows everything they know and vice versa. They are effectively one unit and will react as if smaller parts of a much greater whole.

Dominion: Essentially yes, it's a collection of stunningly beautiful pieces of art which have nearly all been corrupted and given a sexual bend to them, the towers of frozen, orgasming people is probably the biggest part of it!

I was thinking I could quite easily come into conflict with other gods here, especially Sinrah or Xiara as Soltari's goal is essentially to freeze everything in one perfect sculpture for eons to come which runs entirely counter to Sinrah's hatred of stagnation and Xiara's circle of life deal. I'm not sure how much PVP will be a focus here though so I'm cool with being friends! The Masque's goal is essentially just to gain more power by whatever means necessary, it hopes to posses and consume the top god but it might also realise it has a good chance of making Soltari powerful enough to satisfy it instead!

So random questions that have been jingling around my empty skull. Being immortal God beings, this story doesn't seem like one that's going to be a short period of time (in story). Is the timespan for the story in years? Or in generations?

If the latter, what does that mean for our prophets? Is it an inherited thing, something that doesn't really matter after our rule takes root? Or just the most powerful of our servants?

Also since pvp was run by, is there going to be a map?

I was working on a thing using ai art and photo shop to touch up the mistakes for a better female version avatar that feels more fitting. Ignore the stupid hair gap. I haven't figured out how to fix it that or can't afford the tools, but if I can, I'll reupload it. But overall, I think that the design is almost perfect.

ah, neat. I've been watching a few tutorials, but I'll worry about it more later.

Now, I just need to finally finish everything else and I'm still blanking on what to do.

I kind of meant magical followers can navigate without any trouble, normal mortals and other followers are guided by fireflies. I imagine things like my prophet though probably can sense their way through.

Neutral and hostiles presences will get lost.

I don’t think it’s too much since it largely amounts too just a territory defence bonus.

(Alright, that should do it. Tell me if I missed anything or made a mistake.)

    Name:
    Vailar the Deceiver
    Avatar’s powers/form:
    - Perfect Shapeshifting (Can resemble a target with 100% accuracy, from appearance, down to speech patterns and facial tics - he can even mimic the divine aura of another god that one feels when in their presence)
    - Voice of the Sirens (Enchanted voice able to supernaturally deceive, manipulate and convince)

    Avatar:
    - Vailar has used their power of shapeshifting so often that their original form, if they had one, has been forgotten. In the generally short time between shapeshifting, their appearance is that of a faceless, featureless figure. More commonly, they take the form of a different god - generally one of the gods of light.

    Empowerment:

    - Unlike most gods, dark or light, Vailar doesn't seek to be worshiped publicly. Instead, they gains their strength through the actions of their followers. As they work their way into institutions of power, corrupting governments and churches from within to increase their god's influence from the shadows, their power grows.
    - Likewise, when Vailar's followers are able to deceive and pretend successfully, he gains power.

Divine powers: (choose or make up to 3 – number of uses depends on power generated by followers. The powers the dark god can call in the area of their follower. It can be thunder/lightining, a mass of tentacles, earthquake, resurrection, raise of undead servants, plague crafted to dark god's liking, summoning minions…)
    - Mass delusion (Can make entire groups of people hallucinate and see false images.)
    - Divine mimicry (Can temporarily use the powers of another god, albeit not as potent. Which gods Vailar can steal from depends on the difference in power between them, as does the strength of the ability.)
    - Curtain of Corruption (Can influence either specific people or people in an area of effect, strengthening their base desires like greed and lust - making them more pliable to the promises of Vailar's worshippers.)

    Blessings:
    - Form Change (Permanently changes the appearance of a follower - either to something they find more pleasing, or to mimic someone else.)
    - Voice of the Siren (A less powerful version of the God's own power, granting supernatural charisma)
    Prophet:
    - Artemisia, heir to the temple of love and beauty (True name Kallista):
Two sisters, Artemisia and Kallista, were raised in the temple of the light goddess of love and beauty, daughters of the high priestess herself, a woman of great power and influence. Artemisia, like her mother before her, grew to be a woman of unmatched beauty and grace, captivating all who looked upon her - clearly, the goddess had blessed her. Kallista, on the other hand, grew to be ugly and deformed, living in her sister's shadow as she endured taunts and whispers from her peers who called her an insult to the Goddess. Though she prayed constantly, her deity never answered her desperate prayers for beauty and acceptance, and she was relegated to librarian work in the lower library, where she wouldn't be seen by visitors to the temple. There, in the darkest, loneliest reaches of the massive building, Kallista found an ancient book, revealing to her the existence of another god. Unlike her patron goddess, Vailar the deceiver would listen to her prayers - and act. All Kallista would have to give in return was her sister...

The news of Kallista's suicide sent shockwaves of grief through the temple, as the priestesses felt guilt for the way they'd mistreated the girl, but quickly, she was forgotten, a shameful mark on the temple's history, never to be remembered. With her sister dead, Artemisia would step up, joining her mother in the responsibilities of running the temple with an energy and intelligence she'd lacked before, cementing her place as the heir apparent to the role of high priestess, and gaining the praises of all who met her. Little did they know, the priestesses were speaking not to Artemisia, but to Kallista. Vailar had given the hopeless girl exactly what he promised - they switched the physical forms of the two sisters, giving Kallista the life she'd always jealously desired - for that, she'd serve them loyally for all eternity. Artemisia, on the other hand, joined Vailar in the underworld, though she would come to enjoy her new home.
    Dominion:
    - Realm of Change (Areas claimed by Vailar can subtly shift and change their layout and architecture, confusing and disorienting those who go there, often leading them to unfortunate fates)
    - Dark Whispers (Those in Vailar's domains are subjected to their corrupting influence, their voice in their ear, twisting and perverting their morals subconsciously)
    Minions:
Vailar's servants, who they call their children, (though none are true godspawn) take multiple forms, but are shapeshifters all.
    upload_2022-11-23_10-19-50.png
    - Snake Toxins (Can secrete various substances, from lethal poisons to paralytics to aphrodisiacs)
    - Medusa's Gaze (Turns humans to stone)

    - Siren's Voice (Powerful Seduction ability)
    - Water Dominion (Powerful combatants underwater, able to tear ships apart in great enough numbers)

    - Massive physical strength
    Underworld:
    upload_2022-11-23_10-35-37.png
Vailar's home is a small palace of great beauty. Those who go there, however, find deception behind the beauty. Seemingly short corridors stretch out for miles, corners that led to rooms at first glance lead to dead ends at a second, traps and secret rooms abound, and those who step inside the throne room find that it's somehow larger than the entire palace. Without Vailar's guidance, a visitor to his realm is likely to be hopelessly lost in the deceptive halls.

Heyo! I don't know if this is still open or not, but I made a Dark God if it is?

    Name: Terataulis, Lord of Kin

    Avatar’s powers/form:
Terataulis is a god of the bonds of kin, be they between pack members, family, battle buddies or otherwise. As is his right as The Lord of Kin, The Forefather, The Patriarch, and many such ostentatious titles, he can manipulate these bonds and use them to empower those who share them. Or change the nature of the bonds, if he so desires. Blood brothers turning into devoted enemies, families turning sly eyes towards one another, high priests who see their flock as sheep to be guided, sees them as lambs to the butcher.

Additionally, Terataulis despises the arbitrary divide between what is human and what is otherwise. All are kin, and should be embraced as such. At his whim, beasts can hold conversations, demons can ignore their bloodlust, horrors become perceivable and comprehensible, plants gain faces, etc. Under the All Father’s touch, all are Kin and no barrier shall prevent them from forming bonds.
    Avatar:
Terataulis is usually perceived as a large muscular man, though he prefers to appear as a more slim and lean figure. His hair is more akin to a mane than any style, and his clothes billow in reds and green around him. He stands tall and exudes confidence. He always has something or other on hand to comfort his Kin, which changes based on who he appears to. To some, he carries a lute to play lullabies with, to others, he carries a childhood toy. Yet more, he bears nothing, but a loving gaze.

    Empowerment:
-Terataulis loves his Kin, and loves it even more when they create more Kin for him to love. Whenever his followers engage in sexual activities, he gains power, though if it’s done without the intent of reproducing, these gains diminish greatly. When they successfully give birth, Terataulis receives a great increase in power, relatively.
-Terataulis sees the world in a web of bonds. From mentor to student, from alpha to pack, from priest to congregation. Every time one engages with their bond accordingly, Terataulis gains a sliver of power. Every time a mentor teaches the student, every time the alpha provides and protects their pack, every time a priest encourages and uplifts their congregation, Terataulis feels the bonds shiver with power as those reverberations make their way to him.

    Divine powers:
-Call of Kin: As the Prime Originator, all of his direct Kin may hear his call. Each call may only be a particular thing that is immediately understandable. Such calls include: A Call to Arms, a Call to Mate, a Call to Aid, etc. His Kin then must answer this call if able, or suffer the King of Kin’s wrath.
-Sever the Bonds: As the Overlord of Relations, Terataulis may single out a single entity, and sever every bond it has. Family no longer loves them, Owners no longer care, Followers don’t see what’s so important about you. There is no hate, but there is no love. You have been cut off from ever forming connections for as long as the Master of Bonds deems you unworthy.
-Ascend Kin: As the True Father, Terataulis loves his Kin deeply. This power allows him to ascend a particular Kin into a True Kin, a being nearing his own power. True Kin cannot die of old age, can see the bonds as Terataulis sees them, is gifted with great virility, and receives all of Terataulis’s Blessings.

    Blessings:
-Enhanced Physical Prowess: To protect his Kin, Terataulis bestows his blessing of increased physical prowess. It grants heightened strength, heightened resilience, boundless stamina and may breed with anything. (And by anything, I do mean, anything.)
-Instant Reproduction: The effects of this blessing changes based on what genitalia it’s effecting.
On female genitalia, when they become pregnant, they go through the pregnancy in nine hours compared to nine months.
On male genitalia, when they impregnate someone, the pregnancy takes only nine days instead of nine months.
When two Blessed reproduce, the pregnancy takes thirty two minutes and the child grows up twice as quickly.
Additionally, any children born through this, experience increased growth and learning comprehension. They become more skilled towards their desires, such as someone wanting to be a warrior developing more muscles, whereas someone wanting to be a mage better understands magic and how it functions. They become adults in six years.
Finally, all affected by this Blessing are immune to the downsides of “keeping the bloodline pure” as it were.

    Prophet:
Lady Verix Teralis is the last of her noble house, watching it get picked apart by the other houses over the years while her family dies left and right. She knows not why they have tried to destroy her family like this, but she knew of a way to potentially make it stop.
Deep in her family vault, there was one thing those vultures could never take away. A simple wooden chest, seeming like it was grown into its shape, and not a drop of metal on it, no hinges nor any latch. Her parents told her not to mess with it. When she asked why, they didn’t know. They’re merely doing what their parents told them, and so on. As the final member of House Teralis, Lady Verix is desperate, and desperate people make dumb decisions.
She touched the chest, and felt a prick on her finger as she jolted back, seeing her blood get sucked into the chest. The red color swirled, then spread through the entire thing until it seemed like it was made of ruby, then it drained away and opened, revealing a small potted plant surrounded by fallen leaves and dead foliage. She picked it up, curiosity filling her, then rage. *How was this little plant supposed to help her save her House?!* Then the plant shuddered, and something… divine rose from its roots. Lady Verix, being the last member of the Lord of Kin’s bloodline, had awoken the All Father.

    Dominion:
-The land of Terataulis is as alive as any of his followers. Its winds whisper in people’s ears. Its ground rises up to meet the feet of travelers. To journey within the Lord of Kin’s land, is to never be alone.
-In each settlement of Terataulis, there grows a Family Tree, which depicts everyone directly related to the Prime Dad. With him at the top, then any True Kin, then their families. As the Family Tree grows, so too does its protection. To begin with, it provides a constant supply of wood for housing and fires. Over time, as the Lord of Kin’s family grows, the Family Tree provides root tunnels, its leaves shield from arrows and its fruit revitalizes people. All in good time, however. We’ll get there when we get there after all.

    Minions:
Echoes of the True Kin aren’t fully real beings, but are formed of the reverberations of every bond that a True Kin forms. Regardless of their questionable state, several things are clear. They are incredibly strong and durable. Though unable to reproduce, they carry the will of their respective True Kin within, making them messengers of the True Kin, as each Echo is innately connected to their True Kin. As they are tied to the True Kin, they all act as if they have been targeted by Ascend Kin, without the virility booster. Finally, they can touch upon the Bonds of others, though not even close to how Terataulis can. Where The Lord of Kin may invert Bonds, turning friend into foe, Echoes merely induce doubts and questions of the Bond.

    Underworld:
The Hearthlands, a place of tall trees and gentle trails. Throughout, many homes of various styles can be found. When a follower of Terataulis dies and is brought here, they may create a home of their choosing. Their position in the forest corresponds to how deep their bond is with other beings, the deeper the bond, the closer they are in the Hearthlands. True Kin arriving are heralded by the land shaking as their home arises near Terataulis himself, in the center of the Hearthlands. Terataulis resides in a truly massive tree which towers over all the Hearthlands, with as many rooms as anyone will ever need and each catering to the whims of those who enter.
    Residing True Kin:
Adimus: Terataulis’s right hand son, Adimus exemplifies Terataulis’s ideals, seeking to extend a hand in friendship before violence, and treating all Kin with love. Unfortunately, Adimus has a bad habit of losing himself in his fanaticism, be it when interacting with Kin or in battle.
Jezebel: Terataulis’s left hand daughter, Jezebel commands the Kin to do what is necessary to sustain Terataulis’s godly power. She has a commanding presence and demands fealty. She has a bad habit of ignoring her own issues until they explode out of her.

If this is closed, well, not much I can do about it. Thought it looked fun and I have a soft spot for god games.
