"I have a car. And no. Don't even think about it." She shot down any idea Yoko might have to drive it, preemptively. "I'd rather not use my own vehicle for something like this, but I don't think there's much time to look for other options exactly."

"I'm ready when you are." Felicia nods, "Though, should we bring Dinah? She did try to betray us, but I think we'll also need all the help we can get."

 

Julia briefly thought on it. "I think it's best to keep her when we can see what she's doing." She didn't know how she felt about soulbinding in general, though still didn't really like it, but it was still ideally better than allowing them to run rampant wherever they liked. "Besides, she might be helpful for the worst case scenario."

Julia didn't say what it is, as she got ready to leave, with the fast stop to collect her good deck to have it on her for a change, but still sliding Beezle into it. Her own deck didn't run a lot of synchro support or have many options, but she felt it was better to have than not. As far as she knew, the diabolic dragon wanted to happen. It wasn't necessarily a good thing, she was aware. A dragon that's literally a embodiment of darkness might not necessarily have the same ideas of what's good for it's owner, even if it wanted to be helpful. She had to be wary about using it too liberally....but still...for the time being, it could still be a just in case option.

With her feeling more prepared, as well as grabbing a few deliberately cheap and unfair cards that might help Felicia's archfiends if she wanted to use them, they were on their way. She didn't have time to rifle through the whole collection, but the choices she did find in a rush, she thought would do their job more than well enough.

"Right." Felicia nods, looking towards Dinah, "Let's go." She said in a stern tone. With her deck always on her person, she pondered if she should change out of her school uniform. But decides against it as it might waste precious time. Instead they wait for Julia by the parking lot, ready to leave when she's finished with her own deck.

 

Oh, well that's just perfect... Adam groans inwardly, but pretends to seem quizzical. "Oooh... You mean... Could my key be one? It's old and ornate...seems valuable. I put it, well, somewhere they weren't going to find it when they kidnapped me." He affects a slight limp, as he pretends to have the key up his ass. What? If it's...there, then he can't ask me to show it to him. He thinks to Quintet Magician, a little embarrassed.

 

Once Julia retrieves her car, everyone climbs in. Yoko takes the front passenger seat to provide directions, leaving the back seats to Felicia and Dinah. As they cruise Westbound through the city, Dinah fearfully shies away from the red-haired student.

Julia is too busy concentrating on the road and weaving through traffic to tell, but Felicia notices that Yoko appears to be quite uncomfortable in the car.

The group of four reach the outskirts of Domino City's central metro. The sun begins to set as they enter one of the city's poorer neighborhoods. "Stop here." Yoko directs the professor. "We are near." She points to an alley.

Julia does s, with some sense of caution. This wasn’t entirely what she expected, but she wasn’t sure what she was anyway. Julia scanned looking for any signs of security. (Going to shower, so keeping it short)

Seth gives him a look of disgust. "Imbecile." The man with the staff mutters under his breath before speaking to Adam again. "Follow." He strides to the door, leaving the evidence room for the white corridor.
Interesting that this is what came to your mind. Your shamelessness is admirable. There is no hint of mockery in the duel spirit's tone.

 

Once in the car, Felicia wraps her arms underneath her breasts as they drive off. Unsure what to do with Dinah, I guess I'll need to have a chat with her later. Though scaring her worked, I don't really want to give Uru another brood mother. She sighed in her head, but as she notes Yoko's discomfort. "Is everything okay?" She asked in a curious tone.

But as they reached their destination, Felicia keeps quiet, instead looking around for anything out of the ordinary, or for anyone watching them.

 

"If you were rescued by an imbecile, what does that make you?" Adam gives Seth a grin, before following the man into the hallway. Why, thank you. He thinks to his 'imaginary friend' as they step out. "Seems like our only remaining choice is the Warden's office. Ready?" He asks Seth.

 

"I dislike vehicles such as this." Yoko's voice shakes slightly as Julia accelerates around another car. "I prefer to use my spells when walking cannot suffice, but teleporting near a hostile mage's haunt leads to a fast death. I'll be fine."

Both women peer around at the dilapidated buildings and decaying infrastructure as Dinah and Yoko exit their car.

Aside from the padlocked door leading into a rundown industrial building which the mage pointed out, the security consists of a single camera watching the alleyway. The vicinity seems largely abandoned, save for a handful of people walking about and a pair of shaggy beggars sitting a short ways down the street. None of them seem particularly noteworthy.

 

Watching the alley and spotting the camera, "Do we have a way to fool that camera?" She asked, thinking if they just disable it, it'll alert whoever owns the security system.

 

"Unlucky." The white-haired man replies, nonplussed. "You have the key. Open the door. I will erect a ward." Seth says something incomprehensible and gesticulates with the Rod.

"Hmm....I wonder..."

Julia's powers over the cold weren't especially grand, but she knew she could crack glass. It was a bit of a distance to manipulate a ice current, but it was a pretty small lens to crack, maybe...

She began to channel something of a chilling wave to try and break it.

"If this works, it might alert someone, get into positions to encircle them. We don't know what we're dealing with yet."

 

"Of course it does." Adam chuckles, before nodding and getting serious. Standing by the side of the door, he holds Castro's stolen card in front of the reader.

 

"Julia, wait." Yoko interrupts the professor before she starts channeling. "This is why you brought me, isn't it? It is safer for me to cast an illusion of invisibility on us. May I?" She smirks. "Or do you truly prefer negating any chance of surprising our foes?"

"If we can be invisible, I don't see why not. I don't think that camera has any sensors to detect magic." Felicia replies, "And on the off chance we do get caught, Dinah can teleport us away. Can't you?" She asks, looking at the soulbound nun.

 

"Can you do such a large group for that long here?" Julia lowered her hand, a little curious. "If it's possible, then that would be better. Though we will still need to get rid of it on our way out if we want them to not know our faces." She was fine with allowing Yoko to use such an ability, partly to observe what exactly she would do and study it, but also get a better understanding of the extent of her abilities while in the human world would be good to know.

 

The door slides open.

Spoiler: Warden's Office (from above. best I found)

A desk bearing a collection of glowing monitors faces away from Adam. A woman, presumably the warden, sits in a cushy office chair, attentively watching the camera feeds displayed.

Spoiler: Warden

A gun and a pair of keycards rest on the desk to the woman's left. She doesn't appear to have noticed anything amiss.

 

Adam creeps forward, going to grab the gun and dart backward before the woman can stop him.
