Mistakes happen and yeah the idea at least is that each of the options will be given equal attention exploring different interactions with this setting and the characters involved.

Ruby being something along the lines of the basic civilian character exploring the world from a position of being a powerless civilian just trying to survive.

Emily is a police officer which allows her to act as a way to focus on how the criminal and law systems work in a city where criminals are directly in charge.

Ai is an outsider who's focus is more on exploring the criminal entities interactions with the outside world.

Mina is a vigilante who is used to focus on the criminal world within Dustbin from a specifically antagonistic and outsider position

Alex is a wannabe criminal who is used to focus on the criminal world within Dustbin from an internal position and in that sense from both a female and male perspective depending on player choice.

I do have some plans for other characters though all of them will be more minor short stories within Dustbin

I do sometimes think that Marcie and Gina might influence writers in a certain direction, which is very worrisome.

 

I can definitely say, aside from perhaps making me realize I needed to add more lesbian scenes. I have not allowed them to influence my direction at all.

 

There is something particularly gross about reading a Christmas Story in march. If it was something like June you could at least make fun off how ill fitting it is but in March you don’t even get that.
