Being honest and revealing the secrets now sounds like a reasonable move.

Don't worry, I assumed as much. I'm just glad to finally have my "Alide is the Traitor" theory out there, I've been writing and rewriting it in my head for weeks at this point. It's given me brainworms. Even back when Dahlia dropped that line on the previous floor I've been pondering, but trying to connect that theory to new info has made me go full conspiracy nut. (In a good way)

I wonder, are we currently in the mercantile section, since we have two shops open and a bunch of empty ones? If this isn't the mercantile section, I say we head there first. That'd probably be the easiest place to start asking around in. If we are in the mercantile section, downtown seems like the place to go. I'm curious if it's just this section of the floor that's abandoned, or if the whole place is. The vibe I get is that all organic life is gone but there are robots. (For Yulia and gang: Robots are mechanical constructs that can perform all sorts of roles. They can operate a shop, cook food, serve as guards, and much more.)

I think we should start with an innocuous sounding area to start our search, but I'm curious about Punitive and Escape. The former may be connected to The Directive Dreg mentioned, and the latter is probably the exit. At a minimum, there should be a guardian. But given how we can seemingly go straight for it this time, I wonder if there's another step needed to access it, in place of the usual search for the exit.

Looks like I was a bit off in the timing of Elena's ascent, but my points stand otherwise. I thought, since Aqua only appeared very recently, that the treaty had been broken in time for the next Chosen to arrive. But I guess several Chosen could have had a peaceful floor to go through if they'd made it that far.

(Also very spicy Bad Ends for the Queen and Goddess~ They've ordered similar punishments in the past, I'm sure, so I have no issue with leaving them like that.)

I agree that testing first if this is mercantile area and if it is, starting from downtown appears to be a reasonable plan.

I was going to add a note that you were in a section labeled terminal, but removed it cause I didn't want to cause confusion, oops. Terminal not being labeled, cause once you leave you cannot return there. The train itself serving as a mobile hub area now.

Also glad you enjoyed the little glimpse at the Queen and Goddess' fates.

Also ,not all chosen go through the same path, Elena might have been the last one to go to Calumia, but other Chosen have been in the tower, they just didn't end up at Calumia. That being said if this ever reaches the point where we have a different chosen, you will not necessarily be going to the same floors as Yulia did.

    God damnit engin XD

Uh! Trains! Too bad Dreg ist the conductor

This should be fun to map XD

I agree, mercantile quarter is the way to go. But, if we can't return to this place I would suggest we give Martin and Goma's shops a quick search first. I don't think the chance is very high but we might get some loot there.

Not being able to return to the terminal means that we should search this area before leaving.

Obviously Goma and Martin's shops are going to still be available, but the terminal itself is not... That... Seems contradictory, but... Well you'll see.

I wanted to note this last time but kinda forget it because I waited a day to comment, not making the same mistake again

    *ehem*

Yulia's trauma is still listed as active
our total grenade count should now be three

Alright, so before you do anything else...GET DRESSED ALREADY!

I swear your lack of awareness is simply apalling. The beach episode is over!

No TB presence? I wouldn't be so sure about that Lemiel. After all Dahlia has to be somewhere on this floor and she is the Demon of Gifts so...I don't think there would be anything wrong with you doing a proper investigation.

So, it looks like we have two points of interest here, the food and the operational e-book. We probably should check out both but I say we start with the food since this indicates that someone is still living here

I'm not suggesting we eat it, that might be bad, but the group should call out and see if someone shows up

If not we should investigate that book for some information.

Given the general state of this whole place, I don't think stealing anything is a good idea. They probably have some advanced security system to prevent(murder) thieves.
At the very least we should dispense with the looting until we spot something actual useful.

Isalia, because of this I'd like you to keep an eye out on any traps, or security system might be more apt in this situation.

Also, a bit of a meta question

Is each station considered a "room" or are the stuff like the burger joint or the bookstores considered seperate rooms?

I'm mostly asking because of the floor monster

Also also, here is the "map"

I might change the layout later depending on how this floor shapes up, but since we have a bunch of options already I wanted them noted

Lemiel's been good to us, and has shared a lot of info about the Tower with us. I think it's fair to let her tag along as much as she wants if she's curious about this floor.

If Dahlia is here in her capacity as a guide, rather than as the Demon of Gifts, she probably wouldn't set off Lemiel's senses. As a tradeoff, she likely has less freedom to mess with us than if she were here as Demon of Gifts like on the 6th floor.

I'll agree with not eating the food. I'm curious to see whether it's actually fresh, or just has some sort of preservative on it. Like, did someone leave it as soon as we arrived on the floor? Or could something have kept it warm for some indefinite period of time?

The bookstore also seems like it'd be good to check out. I'm curious if that e-reader (for the benefits of Yulia and gang, think of it as a device that allows one to read numerous books as long as preparations are made to make that book available through the device) has newspapers or something on it. Maybe some mention of what life on this floor is like? I'm wavering back and forth between 'the residents of this floor hid when we got here' and 'this floor is long abandoned' but this might be able to give us a definitive answer.

    MOTHERFUCKER!

God damn it... I'll fix that in a bit.

Also the bookstore and convenience store do not count as separate areas, the outside does count as a separate area. Also from left to right on the train... Isalia, Goma, Lri, Cherchiel and Yulia right?

Also right I forgot to have them change back into their normal clothes... I'll just pretend they also forgot and have them respond to Gambio's chastisement and change.

If the food items are well past their sell by date, it seems likely that the denizens of this floor did not only hide from Yulia's group.

Beincautios and aoiding looting and eating until we know more seems prudent. Instead investicating the fast food place and e-reader seems to be in order.

Oh, I was not expecting venturing outside was actually possible.

And yes that's the group, I'm not really sure why I didn't do them in chronological order lol

Yeah I wasn't sure if them running around in Bikinis was an oversight or intentional so I decided to go with the later XD

Ah didn't make it clear enough. Yes the doors outside are usable, they can exit the terminal into the mercantile district proper.

OOH, a timeline, thanks to Goma and Lri for what I can add to my notes! (If Levateinn fell 13 years ago, Elena showed up after, and Margitte showed up 12 years ago, then she showed up in the past 11 years.)

I wonder if The Directive is the same as Sally, or if they're separate entities. Some floor monsters seem like they just sort of appeared, like Lumberer or Knocker. But the Kraken on the previous floor was a pet of Levateinn. So, at least in theory, the floor monster could be something created by a resident of the floor as this Sally was.

Since Dreg's field seems to dissuade The Directive even if we're outside of the train, I think we should check out other areas rather than step outside. I'm leaning towards Residential or Downtown since they're probably abandoned, but we could find clues or even survivors. If possible, I'd like a better understanding of what the Directive is before we step out where it can get us. The fact that no one saw it go by (besides Dreg) could mean all sorts of things: It could simply be stealthy, it could be electricity or a computer program, or even simply a concept.

Certainly sounds like the floor monster. The floor boss usually sticks to one place.

That said, it looks like this monster operates different then previous floor monster, as in we have to screw up to "trigger" it

This is just a theory put could it be that the monster showed up because the girls where inproperly dressed? Indecent exposure certainly sounds like it would get you on this things naughty list

Of course, the fact that it operates differently might also suggest that this isn't the floor monster

Anyways, I agree that going outside doesn't seem particularly worthwile at the moment. While there is a chance that Dahlia or Alide are here due to it being the mercantile quarter, if the inside of the station is relatively safe we might as well stick to it first

Downtown and Residences both are fine by me. I pick Downtown for no other reason then that' it's on top.
