Derrick grins up at her, "Go right on ahead and sit down, more for me at the end of the night!" He chuckles a little, then turns back to Mr. Fancipants, "I'll admit, you're doing good. But not as good as me!"
Derricks eyes dart between the new lady and the rich guy. This is the poor man's resort, why's two of the wealthier folk down here? Are they a couple? Can't say. If they wanted higher end services, surely they could have gone further inland. Something about this is ringing Derrick's "scheme bell". Something's afoot. Until something bigger happens, though, it's also a couple of suckers to wring dry of their walking money. And considering the fine make of their clothing, they've got enough to pay his rent for at least three months. Just gotta keep an eye on the doors.
Might as well start poking their story and seeing what's going on. His Pops would bash him upside the head from the grave if he knew I let someone pull one over me, "So, what brings you to our table? Was it the Prince or the Pauper?"
Then, with a vigorous shake of his hand, Derrick slams the dice onto the table, rolling his wrist just right to tip the odds in his favor. Memorizing what numbers are on what faces of the dice certainly helps. "Three twos!"

"Oh, there was something about this table. Something almost magical." She smirks, and the rich guy raises an eyebrow as if to say "What the hell is she on about?"
