A story idea that I've had kicking about in my head a while based on the game XCOM. For those not familiar with the XCOM PC game the plot is that Earth is under attack from a consortium of alien races and that a multinational force is assembled and equipped to face the invasion. Of course this, being a CHYOA version it would be sexed up considerably from the original shoot the aliens and get shot in return game. Studying the pattern of alien attacks and the performance and debriefings of the troops facing them XCOM has noticed that 95% of the casualties inflicted in alien attacks are male. Female civilians in an attacked area are abducted or sexually assaulted rather than killed. Female soldiers fighting in the XCOM ranks also report that the aliens reaction to them differs to their reaction to their male colleagues and the aliens take considerable risks to subdue, incapacitate and assault or capture them rather than kill them. XCOM concludes that fielding wholly or predominantly female units will give them a tactical advantage in combat with the enemy. Equipped with the latest in contraceptive implants that will render them immune to impregnation (probably?) from the XCOM labs the new units are rushed onto the battlefield to hold back the rising threat of alien incursions.
I'm mildly annoyed at a certain theme that pops up once again here so I'm going to rant. WHY DOES NO ONE LIKE TO WRITE ABOUT MALE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL NATURE IN EROTIC HORROR!? Honestly, you see it everywhere. Whether it's a hentai tentacle monster or some kind of demon in a western comic/story all the male victims are killed off and the females get raped. If they are lucky the guys get one fuck before dying, such as in the classic erotic comic Convent of Hell or in the rather popular Literotica story Dawn of the succubi, where apart from the main character guys get fucked to death or turned to mindless zombies. Or like in the few stories written by "Tantric Legion" which also follow the same theme. Monsters fuck the women and turn them into slaves/monsters and guys die. The many stories inspired by Lilith Strain on CHYOA are actually a welcome change in all that. Why not have more male victims in corruption stories? If you are going to make an erotic story out of X-COM why not have the aliens sex up men as well as women?
I think there's a definite horror vibe to the X-COM/XCOM games that shouldn't be left out. Your soldiers are going off to places where vastly superior aliens have killed or abducted everyone else, and they could meet the same fate with even the slightest wrong move. Raziel83, I think a lot of what you're describing is the product of too little build-up, and XCOM is at least good about that on the strategic scale. The aliens grow stronger at a rate that forces you to keep up but rarely leaves you hopelessly behind. Also, I kind of like that the games give you male and female soldiers, and XCOM 2 has more "feminine" aliens than the first game does. The Viper is a giant snake with hips and boobs, not to mention she likes to wrap herself around enemies and she's good with her tongue, so she's got a whole "why did you take this awful thing and make it sexy?!" vibe going on; and the Codex is an energy being that can clone itself, transforming a one-on-one encounter into a gangbang. Then you've got big muscular Mutons for taking on women. I imagine Sectoids, sexless as they are, use mind control to force people into endlessly masturbating.
Sctoids. Gatekeepers. Ethereals. ...MIND CONTROL! They could make their victims have sex with each other as a distraction or simply because they like to watch others have sex. Like REALLY like to watch it. (Voyeurs.) Then again, The Gatekeeper does also have all those tentacles...
I'm game. I've submitted an initial story for a moderator to approve, and I'll try to expand a bit on the idea and concept I've fleshed out... see if it gains traction. I've set the story as public, so everyone can add to it, if they want. I've had the cheek to submit the story with your proposed title Android1966. Let me know what you think of it Edit: ooh, that was quick! Here's the story: https://chyoa.com/story/XCOM-~-The-Enemy-Fucks-back!.8489 I wasn't expecting to get it approved this quickly, so I'm no where near to finishing the concept I have in mind. Stay tuned for more!
So, after a small break (give or take ten years ), I've found my old notes and started writing on this story again. I didn't actually plan to finish Act 1 in a single day, but the momentum just took over and the finish line started looking achievable - and now it's done. I really hope you’re all enjoying the ride so far. I’ll be back as soon as the next wave of inspiration hits—hopefully later this week or next. Fair warning: I probably can’t sustain this breakneck pace forever, but after being trapped in my head for a decade, this story was practically screaming for a release... much like my poor readers, after having to wait so long for the sexy bits of this story! https://chyoa.com/story/XCOM-~-The-Enemy-Fucks-back!.8489
Now I'm wondering about a competitive erotic story: there are two sides, and each author "controls" one side, writing alternating chapters describing the sides' "turns", and they both try to outdo each other.
YOUR rookie who panicked because they saw an alien dick and then opened fire on friendlies. AND I ONLY TOOK HIM ON THIS MISSION TO TRAIN HIM UP AND REPLACE THE LOST EXPERIENCED TROOPS! YOU ARE MAKING THE SITUATION WORSE!!!!! ...No, I'm not upset. Why do you ask?
Honestly, that's not even the worst case scenario. The worst case scenario is the kindergarten-level one: both "sides" just want to win, and resort to increasingly stupid, unpleasant, or just plain ridiculous actions to achieve it. Though I framed it as "competitive" in my previous post, all stories written by multiple people must at their core be cooperative, or they just fall apart. Something similar happens with "X-word story" threads. The first user bravely starts the story with, "once upon a", and then it's a 50/50 at best that the second person doesn't immediately wreck it by going "COCK LOL LOL". People who try too hard to be funny are the least funny thing in the world.
The only way to do a competitive story is with rules and referees and open dice rolls or whatever RNG to determine winners. And you really do need a referee to remove or just block posts that don't fit in due to rules violation or general asshattery.
