Sorry for the delay on today's chapter, I swore I posted it this morning before work, but apparently I did not.
It's really weird to consider that aside from the brief dream-sequences, this is probably my most aggressively straightforward and restrained story in terms of focusing on plot, relationships, and normal sex.
The weirdness is here very much tied to the plot. You have certainly done well keeping the plot moving, not too fast but constantly forward.
It is kind of nice to write a story where the comments go from lesbian incest anticipation to "I hope Mel gets to explore his feelings of abandonment."
As a reader I am certainly not opposed to former, but latter or aomething of the kind keeolps me reading.
Haven't updated the lore on the front page in a while because a) doesn't seem like anyone cares, b) getting unwieldy, and c) some major spoilers for upcoming chapters added recently.
Small typo: Double Jordan in the last sentence: "On the walk home, Jordan locked her arm in his, and Jordan followed behind."
