(It might be a little late to retcon this slightly, or more accurately add to it. However, I do want to add a small diner into the mix so you have someplace to eat if you wish to) Spoiler It's not plot-relevant The motel for the town is a long one-story building. It's already late-afternoon(timezones and all) and despite that, it still looks basically abandoned. It looks like there are roughly four or five motel rooms with an office at the far end. It has a parking lot outside which is completely empty and a sign which is so run down that it's basically just a metal frame on a tall pole. Entering into the Office, you both see a cute girl sitting at the desk. She's a brunette and a little on the short side. Her face is cutely rounded and a pair of bumps are just visible against the fabric of her tee shirt as she sports a quite modest bosom. She appears to be a late-teen which is emphasized by the backpack next to her seat and the fact that she's working on homework while at the desk. The girl seems rather surprised when you walk in and eyes you both over. A confused expression is on her face as she asks. "Uhh...Hi? I mean, How can I help you today?" It's obvious they don't get many customers. The church is small, but despite its size, it still tries to be quite grandiose. It mostly fails though as it is essentially a square building with a steeple at the entrance and that steeple is barely higher than the trees around it. Once Silas enters, he finds that it's beautiful as many churches are, but hardly grand. After a short entrance room which has coat hangers and places to leave your boots, you arrive immediately inside the nave. There are about five or six pews before a podium at the front. The walls are adorned with classic Christian imagery and the windows are stained with biblical depictions. One thing you note is that one of the windows is cracked with a hole in it. There appears to be a door at the far front which you can presume leads to the back portion and less public parts of the church. Nobody seems to be immediately available to greet you.

When she noticed wave of Silas she go inside church to join to him. Empty, how it look like on first eye. "Hmm, let's see vestry, maybe here we will find priest, sexton or handlady." She suggest and go to the door and knock.
Sarah sees the girl at the desk and smiles, she walks up and greets her. "Hello, we'd like a room please. Hopefully, with a bed that can fit two people. How much would that cost?"
It wasn't long after Mira makes the suggestion that the door opens and a person walks out of it. He's well dressed and looks to be in his mid-thirties. He's tall and a little bit lanky with short black hair and a button-down shirt. It's probably fair to assume that he's the priest. "Yes? Hello? Can I help you two find something?" He looks a bit nervous. "S-sure." she rummages through her homework to find the motel's roster before pulling it out. "It's $50 per night along with an extra $50 deposit in case of damages. You get that back after you leave. W-We don't have any beds for two though. They can all only fit a single person comfortably."
"well how are you? horace mastiff, we were just here cause we would like to ask about the community" silas sticks out his hand,smiling broadly
"Hmm, is there a couch in the room?" Sarah asked just in case, to avoid draining their limited funds.
"Sure...I can answer your question" he looks at your hand and hesitates for a moment before shaking it. "at least to the best of my abilities. I'm Ray Clemens." Her eyes get a little wide as she realizes that she was a little vague. "Oh- no I mean that there's no double beds. Every room has two beds, so neither of you will have to sleep on a couch or on the floor or something. Just that all we have are single beds for one person."
Alexander smiled to Sarah out of the corner of his mouth, as she requested a double bed for them. Hearing the cute clerk inform them about the beds, he shook his head. Must be quite the religious small town to only have seperate beds. Shrugging his shoulders to Sarah, he tried to engage her in some conversation, 'Hello, I'm Alexander. Nice to meet you. That's no problem, perfectly alright with us.' Looking around the place he continued, 'Looks like business is very slow today. Does this place belong to your father, young lady?' he gave her his most reassuring smile.
"well then, thank you mr.clemens, we are new to this area and were wondering. are the people around here quite neighborly? we were thinking of staying awhile if we liked this place." silas wonders if the preist is a demon or not and checks him,thinking that more than likely he knows something.
Sarah breathed a sigh of relief, "That's great to hear!" She exclaimed, hearing Alexander agree Sarah prepares the payment for the room as Alexander questions the young girl. Carefully to not expose her weapons in her bag.
"God bless father Clemens, I'm Helena Hunter." Mira introdiuces hersellf and look at hands of priest. Skin on hands can tell a lot about person, did he is physical worker or mindworker. Fingernails can tell how much he look after himself.
"A pleasure to meet you Helena." His hands are neatly cleaned and nails are well manicured. "We try and be friendly. I don't think that anyone around here would turn you down if you needed help, but we do have a tendency to keep to ourselves." You activate your minor ability while Ray talks and don't sense any demons within your ability's radius "Business is always slow around here." she shrugged "And yeah, my dad owns it and I work here over the weekends. We get-" She hesitates briefly and eyes the both of you up before continuing. "-Mostly couples that spend a single night before leaving in the morning." You get the feeling that she's referring mostly to people coming in for one-night stands and that she suspects that the two of you are there for the same reason.
hmm thats good " thanks,by the way normally in most towns there are people that most people stay away from, but are usually nice, we'd like to know as they can be a joy to be around. Do you know of any people like that or people that we should meet if we wanted to stay?"
Sarah grabs a hundred dollars from her bag. She grins at her assumption, and says. "Actually, we're journalists doing a story about the area." She places the money on the desk in front of the young girl. "Did you happen to hear something interesting around town?" Sarah gives the girl a friendly smile.
"That is good. Can you tell us, what hours are masses?" Mira was growing up in traditional family, where Christian kulture is strong. She let Silas asking more important question, and She ask more common, to distracted priest.
