The tea is lovely and fragrant. "I imagine it would be. Still, I hope it wasn't an unwelcome shock. At the very least, your mother didn't really make any enemies here, so you don't have to worry about those." She chuckles. "She did have many admirers, though, so you'll have to deal with that."
Inobi blinks, dazed, before coming to her senses. "Kina-San, you're amazing. I can't believe you drove me so crazy when we were together just once." Back to her usual self, she chuckles. "Oh, I suppose I can repay the favour, my sweet." She grins, kneeling and leaning forwards between the blonde's legs. "What a beautiful pussy, the emperor will love it." She kisses Kina's thighs, then moves up to her pussy lips, teasing the older woman. Finally, she dives in, tongue moving past Kina's lips to stroke her g-spot, while her nose rubs against the blonde's clit. She reaches up to caress Kina's huge tits. (Huge tits. Not exactly as poetic as voluminous cleavage. )
“No, not unwelcome, just very surprising.” Midori admitted. “Good to hear that she did not have any enemies – I hope I can follow her example. As for her admirers, anyone in particular I should know about?”
"Mmmh." Kyouka yawns, opening the door, "What raid?" She said in a sarcastic tone as she heads downstairs. "Make sure the old man, and Tatsu is downstairs! The ones with the matchlock head down the basement! You, go to the toilets, pour some shit by the basement door." She starts barking orders while scratching her head. "Now, let's see what how this goes."
"Most are dead or have moved on, but I do remember a few who might still be around. She was engaged to a young samurai, but left him when he was found with other women. He kept hounding her to take him back, though, and never really took no for an answer. He's now a general in the imperial army. Luckily, he's not posted in the city." She hums. "There was a banker who tried to convince her to become his mistress, unsuccessfully, and kept offering her higher and higher sums of money. I remember that we had to store the gifts in my own home, because by the time she'd returned one, three more had arrived, and they quite literally overflowed her own place." Tiyaka chuckles. "There was also a nanban mercenary who she was intimate with, but they were never serious." Tiyaka lowers her voice. "There was one other, but I fear it might offend you to hear."
They get to work, and a stink begins to waft up from the basement door. Looking out the window, she sees yakuza men, at least two dozen, but they're spread out across the whole street, and only two come to the door, banging loudly. "Open up! We're from the Kitano Family!"
"Yeah, yeah, just a minute!" Kyouka grumbled, she slowly opens the door. "What is it you want? We're still cleaning up here." She said as she pinches her nose.
Midori hummed and nodded along as she listened to the older woman talk. Sounds like mom was quite popular and adventurous... “No need to worry about offending me. Go ahead and tell me who this other person was. Better to know ahead of time so that I don't get caught by surprise later.” Midori replied as she lowered her own voice in response to Tiyaka's words.
The yakuza cover their noses in distaste. "What the hell did you do in here? Ugh, we're looking into a robbery. Some people attacked one of our warehouses last night, and witnesses saw 'em bringing the loot back to this district. You ain't seen anything, have you? There'll be consequences if we find out you're lyin'." One man, slightly bigger than the other, focuses on trying to intimidate her, while the other merely gawks.
"Well, the last person is actually a woman, the owner of one of the most successful brothels in the city." Tiyaka blushes.
"Urgh." Kyouka holds back her puke, she'd like to say it was an act. But with her hangover, it was a little too close for comfort. "S-sorry, we were havin a party last night. And one of the guests decided the store room was the shitter." She opens the door wide enough for the smell to hit them, and for them to see the filthy floor. "Needless to say, no one bothered looking outside. Urgh... but, what is it that was stolen?"
Jian had to laugh at his father's joke, at least he thought it was a joke, 'I think she'll be quite busy with you, father.' He nodded to Amalia, 'That's good to hear, this does seem like a well-run establishment.' He drank some of his tea, 'I hope you find enough time to get out and see the city a bit. Do you have any interests you follow? I like to practice Tai Chi and hone my skills with the Dao.'
"Ugh, kami! Close the door!" They cover their mouths and noses. "Money, they stole money. Ignored all the other goods." The ruse works, the men clearly don't want to be here. "Well, if you see or hear anything, come find us at headquarters. We'll reward you if you help us, and burn this place to the ground if you hinder us." He gets another whiff. "Though maybe this place should be burnt anyway. Damn!" The two yakuza leave, and the search bypasses the inn.
"S-sure... I'll tell you if I learn anything." Kyouka said as she they, she then shuts the door. "You guys can clean that up now!" She barked her orders while pinching her nose. "Urgh. Ujo, you'll be staying here to watch over our gold." She said as she looks for Santo.
"Yeah, I get out and about." She stands and picks up a bow of the style used by the horse nomads to the north of Jian's homeland. "I practice my archery whenever I can." Clearly, Chitsukiko approves.
The men gather buckets and mops, beginning to clean grudingly. Ujo smirks. "Not afraid I'll steal it?" She finds Santo outside, having slept through all of the ruckus.
"Your mother, being in charge of army logistics, was responsible for finding...entertainment for the men. They met during that, and became involved." She takes a sip of her tea, awkwardly.
"Please. You were scared enough at waging war against the yakuza. I doubt you'd be stupid enough to make them, and me your enemy." Kyouka replied as she lightly kicks Santo for him to wake up. "Oi, wake up. We got work to do. Get some people to fortify this place. Specially the basement. For the exterior of the tavern just enough to defend against arrows and bullets."
