"Most are dead or have moved on, but I do remember a few who might still be around. She was engaged to a young samurai, but left him when he was found with other women. He kept hounding her to take him back, though, and never really took no for an answer. He's now a general in the imperial army. Luckily, he's not posted in the city." She hums. "There was a banker who tried to convince her to become his mistress, unsuccessfully, and kept offering her higher and higher sums of money. I remember that we had to store the gifts in my own home, because by the time she'd returned one, three more had arrived, and they quite literally overflowed her own place." Tiyaka chuckles. "There was also a nanban mercenary who she was intimate with, but they were never serious."
Tiyaka lowers her voice. "There was one other, but I fear it might offend you to hear."
