The new Adopt a Story Program

A quick question on the new stories I've adopted - is there a way to access the "Edit Story" page for them? For reference, I can go to https://chyoa.com/list/stories and click "Edit Story" for stories that I created/owned to set story privacy/add authors etc., but I don't appear to be able to do that for the new stories.

As an assigned owner, you can access the Edit Story page but the link doesn't show up on the MyStories list.

I think the easiest way to get to that site is through the story map:
Go to the story map of the story.
Replace the "map" in the address bar with "edit" and hit enter.

The story owner has deleted their account.
Right now, there is no editor.
The last added chapter was approved by a moderator. (But there is still a pending chapter.)

So it is an orphaned story. I wonder how many stories are like that? Existing after most or all people in editorial roles having left it.

Well, most stories don't have editors. So when the owner leaves, they're already abandoned.
There are certainly a lot of stories without active owners/editors, some of them with pending chapters.

I don't know if I would ever contribute to them, but I'd like to adopt two stories:

https://chyoa.com/story/Stacy-and-Emily:-Whore-to-door.1538

I added you as an owner :)

I was curious if I can adopt Rubicon's stories since they haven't been here in two years it seems. These are the stories I am interested in:

https://chyoa.com/story/Ovyah-Discovered.19606
https://chyoa.com/story/The-Seductive-Spider-Harem.19755
https://chyoa.com/story/The-Luthor-Agenda.19960

Also interested in this story. It seems to be moderated while having no owner. Not sure how this works. The ruling should be interesting.

I added you to Truth of the Matter as the owner.

Rubicon has been active in the past 6 months. But since you have chapters in Ovyah Discovered, I added you there as an editor.

Once you add chapters to the other two stories, I can add you there too.

Happy writing! :)

Thank you, that's great, I wanted to add picture to start of story but it doesn't give me the option, do I need to be added as editor too or is it impossible?

Added owners can access the Edit Story page only with the direct link.
The easiest way is to go to the story map, replace the "map" in the address bar with "edit", and open the site.

For the adopted story, the link would be:
https://chyoa.com/story/Jana-Wolfsbane.24636/edit
