Depends on how big you plan to make the stories and if they have anything to do with each other apart from the setting.

I could easily separate them into different stories just to have room to grow but I do note that if you want readers, it is easier to get visibility for just one story instead of two.

For me, it would depend if we're following 1 character or several. If 1, then branch out. If >1, different stories

Theme and kink are the most important factors here. If some branches are adultery and others are, for example, mind control, it's probably best to separate them.

This is especially important if some branches have extreme kinks, or if you decide to use an unusual, experimental writing style for some of them. Going from one branch to another that's completely different is jarring.

In my view, the purpose of that thread is "I had an idea, but I don't have the time or desire to work it out, but maybe someone else does".

Unfortunately ideas are cheap, and writing is slow, so it rarely works out that way. Still, it's better than just having them gather dust somewhere on your hard drive, I guess. :P

I've been experimenting with stubs lately. You offer a choice, one continues the longer story, the other contains 1-2 chapters worth of payoff (ie. sex, usually). Stubs are pretty liberating, because if the story doesn't have to continue down that branch, there's no long-term consequences, which means you can go just a little bit crazier there than in your main plotline(s).

Where does the line go between cuckolding and just cheating? If the person isn't aware of their partner cheating on them, isn't that just regular cheating? I was under the impression that cuckolding is a consensual kink where they get off on seeing their partner fucking other people.

There isn't really a reason for the futa to be there unless the husband has a history of being violent, and if he did then that would have been the reason for the cheating not the unsatisfying sex. lol.

Of course you could turn the story into a revenge fic, where the trap is an abuser and after being saved by the futa, and the futa showing her how submissive her husband could be.
