    Writer's barely diguised ______

Exactly why I don't want it said: I see it enough already, and its kinda the only answer that could possibly rival the disguised fetish in contemporary media.

    Writer's barely diguised ______

Everyone's heard the phrase "The writer's barely diguised fetish" in regards to some story or movie or whatever. We may even have a few names on the tips of our tounges (currently leaning towards Quentin Tarantino myself). But that phrase doesn't really apply to erotica/smut/etc, because I doubt...

"Are you guys seeing this?!" I say to myself, in the bathroom, whilst absolutely nothing is happening (barring usual bathroom activities).

@raziel83 Believe it or not, that's exactly what I was referencing. Saw an anime titled "I reincarnated as the 7th prince and (something somethimg I forgot) to hone my abilities! :D :D :D :D" and I realized the reason those kinds of titles suck is how many key words they shovel into the...

In a story's title, you get exactly 3 key words before it becomes too much. For individual chapters however, go wild. Same applies to anime.

    Censorship backup plans

Heavy topic, I know, but with the recent policies regarding forking over your ID/face/credit card in order to access the naughtier parts of the web, I think we readers and authors alike unfortunately are going to have consider migrating to other platforms, if push comes to shove. I know I'm not...

    Story map lag

How large is the story map? Because 100 chapters or less means somethings up, but 10,000 is probably just server lag on CHYOA's part. I don't know too much about coding, but I do know loading in a couple thousand links can be a little more strenuous than your average website.

I was considering giving an example on the latter, but I think I might genuinly start coughing up blood if I attempt to bring forth such an unholy union of lexicon.

I don't think OpenAI has that kind of foresight, and even if they did, it's gonna get really difficult to make AI the widespead monster they want it to be when it talks like a pornstar half the time.

I'd say art imitates life, but AI isn't art, so I'll leave it at 'relatable as fuck'.

    New UK Regulations

I'm... not entirely sure what I'm voting on here...? I speak for anyone without a bottomless pit for a brain when I say we are all against ID checks, but... what's the idea here? What are trying to ask of me?

A bad ending, however, is often caused by taking the 'easy way out' by ignoring vital points or submitting to the 'villan' whether metaphorically by simply not respawing, or literally submitting to the bad guy, usually literal in the case of erorica ;)

In gaming, the 'true ending' is often the one that requires a little extra work, the one that keeps the story going with the player having to move towards the goal of a 'happy ending', the one most players seek to get.

Things that almost never happen in CHYOA stories

Well, see, a character being a hunter or someone who uses a deadly weapon as a mere diplay piece actually says a lot about a character. I do think that not every little detail needs to be relavent a hundred chapters down the line, but knowing how to be quiet and careful in the middle of the...

Unless, of course, you ask. Peer review is an important yet often neglected tool in the department of erotic literature.

    AI?

I think as long as you (a sentient person) make to sure to properly curate and improve upon the soulless splatters your LLM of choice shits out, you'll be pretty well set. Since you aren't actively typing out the first draft, you can go through it with a better 'reader-like' perspective than...

    Kink Smorgasbord vs. Narrow Focus

That depemds on if the story spreads out a lot or if the story itself narrows itself into a couple main braches at most. A very branchy story like Lois Lane's Night Out has a lot of potential for exploring different kinks with different situations present across many different branches. A linear...

Now that I think about it, it's REALLY common to use food as a pet name. Things like muffin, cupcake, cake (as in ass), honey, sweetie, et cetera, et cetera. Certain foods like strawberries tend to get thrown in there too, so referring to your partner as a strawberry shortcake or an apple pie is...
