This is mostly to draw Xmas story ideas away from the Bad Halloween Story Ideas thread, by giving them somewhere to belong.

Even so, I think we're pushing the season a little.

Not sure it's a "bad" idea, but I thought it would be fun if someone started a 'Hallmark (After Dark)' style hub story on CHYOA. Since Hallmark channel dominates the Christmas movie market, each individual story could be in the style of those movies, tropes and all, but with a NSFW twist. I've thought of starting it myself, but not sure I want to manage a bunch of submissions.

Some of the classic Hallmark Christmas movie plots:
  • Character in big city returns home to small town or goes to small town for a story
  • Big city character from MegaCorp goes to small town to buy out/close down beloved whatever owned or run by other character
  • Character travels to Itzfakeistan and catches the eye of the single royal looking to get married by Christmas
  • Rival characters vie for the same job promotion - or - Rival families, but the two trying to keep the peace fall in love
  • One hates Christmas, the other loves Christmas, but they're forced together by circumstances
  • Fake relationship for the holidays to appease family, make ex jealous, impress the boss for some reason
... or any combination of the above.

Every year there are memes and articles about the recycled plots of Hallmark. Honest, erotica can be the same, so why not combine the two?
