While she had never been a 'fan' of her landlord, Jenny had always endeavored to make sure she had at least a cordial relationship with him. When he mentioned the noise complaints she flushed in both embarrassment and worry but a bemused look crossed her face when he mentioned that their rent hadn't been paid. She left their finances to Harold, but he wouldn't be late or not pay their rent, that was absurd."Oh, I think there'll be something there to impress you." Chastity giggles, as they head out. "Hey!" Jenny hasn't managed to escape the building yet, before her landlord stops her, the large, balding man shouting from his office on the ground floor as the blondes make their way to the door. "Foxx - I had a bunch of noise complaints coming in about your apartment yesterday. Plus, you're late on your rent - your husband keeps making promises, but I ain't seen a dime."
Wasn't it?
"I-I'm sorry Mr. Harding." She apologized "Both for the noise complaint and for the rent, I'll be sure to keep things down in the future. And with the rent, I'm going to talk with my husband about it; I'm certain he's paid you but if he hasn't then you'll have your money by the end of the week, I promise."
As she was going to be signing her contract with Fitzgerald Industries tomorrow, Jenny had no doubt she'd have the money to the man by her pledged deadline; but she still wondered how this could have happened. She cast an apologetic glance at her sister before turning back to her landlord.
"Until I can get this sorted out, is there anything I can give you as a sort of... deposit?" she asked wondering if there was a way to move their interactions away from 'icy'.
