“Let's go freshen up a bit.” Azura suggested as she led her friends toward the nearest restroom – talking out in the open could attract unwanted attention.
Once in the restroom and away from prying eyes the trio first made sure they were alone, then Azura started whispering to her friends (just in case there were any microphones there – unlikely but why take the chance). “I have an idea, but it is a risky one. There's a spell I know that can make regular people and the weaker supers ignore us. Doesn't matter if they are looking at us directly or through a camera – as long as we keep moving and do not do anything to attract their attention they will ignore us. We could use the spell to take a look at the upper floors and then leave. However, as you can probably guess, the spell has some flaws. It doesn't work on the stronger supers (and I am honestly not sure where the line is between 'weak enough to be affected' and 'strong enough to not be affected'), people that are on alert and are actively searching for intruders are likely to overcome the spell unless they are really weak-willed, and it doesn't work on machines so it's useless against any automated defense systems. It also has a time limit of 10 to 15 minutes at most, so 10 minutes to be on the safe side. And of course even if the security ignores us now we will still get caught on camera, so if they check the recordings they will know we were there.”
Azura paused to catch her breath, then focused on Sapphira. “Can you do that portal thing, in case we need to leave in a hurry? I'd rather not fight the guards and potentially endanger the guests if we get discovered, so we need to have an escape plan in case we need to leave in a hurry.”
