Newest Chapter: As much as I'd like to just speed this part up... I should not deprive you of your choices, even if I know you'll probably make the expected choice.

 

Sure, Take, do whatever you deem necessary to open the door. Also, I'm curious, what race and gender were your teachers?

 

We can expect at least one boon if we make it through the door, given it seems the same as it was last run. We might even get access to the items we stored from the previous run, which will be a massive boon. Use whatever means are necessary to go in there.

Anyway, I will make a proper suggestion to Take in a few minutes.

Good job, Take. Before you do anything else get yourself healed – no need to wander around at less than perfect health, and that freezer burn looks like it might worsen if left alone.

After that learn an offensive spell. I understand you are not trained in magic, so the sooner you learn a new spell and start practicing it – the better. As for why an offensive spell: Well, you never know when you will encounter an enemy that renders your physical weapons ineffective. Having magic to fall back on in such a case is a good idea.

 

Right I keep forgetting I have to move that each time to get it to work.

 

Take is currently wearing no armou. So getting one seems beneficial.

 

Hello Nagi, it’s nice to meet you. Do you happen to be from Calumnia, or are you from a different aquatic floor?

As for what to pick, I think we should wait just a little bit. There’s still one more room we haven’t checked, and at this point it’s safe to say this floor is basically the same as last time. The third room had an unconscious Goma and a slime monster iirc. We’re only missing 5% HP so let’s deal with that room before we use Nagi’s services. I’d prefer to go into the boss fight with full HP.
As for items, moonblack and huginn both bring up good points. For balance reasons, I don’t think we’ll face a monster immune to physical attacks on this floor, so I say we get armor on this floor and an offensive spell on the next floor.

I’ll also have to update my Tower lore notes. The section about Yulia and her party will get moved to the bottom to make room for Take, and I’ll need to add Nagi. Glad to finally have new stuff to put there~

I haven’t mentioned that before? I’ve got notes for Yulia and her party, the big Tower figures like Alide, the major players for the Towers Above and Below, and the floors we’ve visited. We’ll see how much of it proves useful in this run.

Happy holidays everyone!

Well, thanks to this nice gift, we don’t need to discuss what we get from the shop: armor this time. But let’s save that for a moment. First, let’s check the third room (not the one with the wooden door and stairs). In case we take damage there, we’ll be able to heal again with Nagi’s actual boon and go into the boss fight with full HP.

Also Nagi, does the physical restoration restore mana as well? If so, we might wanna have Take practice using Force Lance before we get healed. I doubt we have enough mana to master it since we don’t have Yulia’s insane mana regeneration passive, but it’ll make progress on mastery.

My proposed plan:
1. Check the third room
2. Practice Force Lance (if Nagi can restore our mana afterwards)
3. Get armor and a heal from Nagi
4. Face the boss behind the wooden door (make sure to check for traps)

 

Too busy having a fun holiday to focus on this, but I really appreciate Take getting some fun already! You looked sooo cute eith your lips getting smooched like that~

And in terms of my plans? Not much really. Lets just go with whatever others proposed.

 

I noticed that Thursday and Christmas intermingled and Blue rightly pointed out that people might be too busy to properly respond if we actually moved forward, hence this little gift intermission instead so we can still continue from an actual progression next time.
