Good job, Take! Congratulations on your victory! Onwards to the next floor, let's see what sort of challenges it has for you.

 

Oh Take, this was probably the weakest enemy you’ll fight in the Tower, please don’t get overconfident.

Since we’re moving between floors, some questions for Take: What sort of work were you doing as a ninja, and what motivated you to do it? What parts of your work made you take pride in it?

Ah, right, that guy. I remember him... I think...

For now ignore Dreg and the wheel, Take. Do some scouting, starting with the left side. Check to see if the door is locked or not - but do not enter if it is unlocked, at most take a quick peek inside - then see where the path without a door leads. After that, if you have not encountered anything of interest, come back and check the two paths on the right side. And keep an eye out for traps, just in case.

 

Take, enquire Dreg about his prize for protection now before you actually need to rest. It may or may not be the same as on the previous run. I think there is no need to spin the wheel currently before we know more about what you are facing.

 

I agree with both of the above. Let’s ask Dreg what the price is for a rest first, then explore. Take’s HP is full but she’s at 25% mana, so no need to rest now but let’s avoid the tougher fights. We have Cloak and the smoke bombs in case we run into a wandering monster while exploring. And since we don’t have much info yet we might as well start how moonblack suggested.

Also Take, you seem like you can handle Dreg’s… manners, but keep in mind he’s one of the most powerful beings in the Tower. He can only harm you if you attack first, so watch yourself around him.

 

Yes, it is good if you do not consider the price of Dreg's protection too high. We may need it at some point.

You definitely should talk to Yulia/Malia Lustra.

 

Oh that makes sense, now both makes ladies can talk funny how we got two in a row who ascend with masks.

Newest Chapter: I had intended to give you more time to interact with and question Yulia before making a decision, but the dice once again have either amazing or terrible timing depending on your POV

 

I’m not sold on this being the real Yulia. On one hand, it would be entirely in character for her to want to help out the new Chosen. On the other hand, where’s Cherchiel and Dahlia? And the fact that we have “Yulia” waiting in the exact spot that Ash Meddai did in the first run makes me think this is the current Archdemon of Lust fucking with us. I’d love to be wrong, would love to see Yulia again, but we don’t have enough info to trust her.

I say we retreat. Throw a smoke bomb, use Cloak, and then head to Dreg. Given the size of this floor and the fact that we’ve only started exploring it (there’s not a guarantee this is the same layout as the previous run), trying to lose the minotaur through normal methods could backfire. Better to just pay Dreg’s price than run into another threat with this thing on Take’s heels.

 

This one does sound suspiciously like Malia Lustra. Retreating and exploring bit more of this level does look reasonable course of action. Though, we may want to keep offer to help in mind if this monster turns out to be too hard

Alright, let's go look for Yulia again. Is she in the same spot?
Also, a few questions for her. Where are the rest of her companions? How are they all doing? Is Malia Lustra still around? What aid can she provide, and what are the conditions (if any)? Also, ask for her to show her tech suit and her plasma rifle, those aren't things that Malia Lustra could easily find fakes of, and they're visually distinct.

 

It looked like Yulia may be moving. So you should check where you saw her last and then continue searching per the original plan.

Also ask Yulia about who is current archdemon of lust amd ask her to describe her position in tower.

 

Newest Chapter: Interviewing Yulia

 

We can put it to a vote, and I’ll go with the majority, but I think we can trust Yulia. We just need to be a bit careful about what help she gives, and watch out for things like the food bit she mentioned.

That said, Take, I would like to introduce you to Yulia Maestra, the previous Chosen. Her goal was to find a cure to the plague threatening to doom her world. She ascended the Tower and made her dream come true, only to remain in the Tower and continue to help those in need.
She slew the previous Archdemon of Lust.
She defeated and conquered the Archdemon of Gifts.
She managed to overcome and liberate the Chosen Slayer herself, a feat none have accomplished in the Tower’s history.
She suffered many setbacks and defeats on her journey, but she overcame everything and became a hero.

Yulia, it’s good to see you again.
