I published the story Deep Cover this afternoon (https://chyoa.com/story/Deep-Cover.46376), and its listed as In Review. That makes sense, I understand you have to review first. However, it popped up in my recent activity and apparently pinged my followers, so a few folks have asked what happened to it. Is it being reviewed for content or is it just the initial pre-publication review?

I think this is a bug when chapters are published while the story is still under review.

This is a very nice story and I have written 2 extra chapters. The author was excited at first but stopped responding to my new additions. I have reached out to see if she'd approve it but she didn't respond. It has been several weeks since I wrote them. Could a mod approve them?

Yes, Cross C is an editor of the story so they can approve chapters.

Unfortunately, users can't see who has owner/editor rights. (This will most likely change in the future.)
If in doubt, you can ask a moderator if there are active owners/editors and who they are.
