The Tower of Voices Voting Thread

It's been mentioned Dahlia can't appear on this floor because it has no connection to the Tower Below, and Alide may have arrived for the first time when we did, so no need to ask her the former or press hard on the latter. I'm not a fan of the "tie her up and interrogate her" plan, but I can't come up with anything better in this situation. So I'll reluctantly agree to it.

This went well, so since she likes Isalia that much we should have her help get the Bunny off.

Once that done, we should still try to avoid Sally calling the cops on us. Sooo....

Goma usw puppet on the bunny and make her admit that she liked the sex with Isalia that much she won't take any payment from us.

And after, one more use of puppet to make her fall asleep, then take the tentacle dagger and vacate the area before anyone gets wise.

The perfect crime.


Next, Alide should be high on our priority but since we are already in the area might as well head back to the prison thing and see what we get from inside.

 

Puppet has gone has not worked too well on this level and Sally may see everything, as the bunny indicated. So I think Yulia et al are better of by revealing that they are indeed chosen and her party and asking the bunny to join them until they can pay her.

First Isalia should of course thank her properly for the kind answers.

 

I think Puppet is at least worth a try, as it might work. I suspect what happened earlier is that those security robots were controlled remotely by The Directive and/or Sally, but a gynoid with their own decision making like Bunny here would be affected like normal. I agree with Gambio's plan, including dealing with that prison plant from earlier.

As much as I wish you rested some more so you can give it 100%, I am glad you feel okay enough to write again.

As for what to do next. Maybe just freeze the plant and walk up to it? The insides of the bulb seem fleshy and warm so I suspect that anyone inside would be safe from any damage the flash-freeze will do to the plant. And with plant all helpless you can just smash it open like an egg and pull the poor person outside. :3

 

I think a Blizzard focused on the plant, both the pod and the larger plant it's attached to, might do the trick. If they have a controlled climate, the plant won't handle the cold well but it shouldn't hurt anyone inside. Ideally there's a person in here being used as bait who we can question, but it'd also be good to have a reliable way to deal with these if we run into them again.

 

Hmm, as stated the chance of this being a trap is high, so we definitely need to be on our guard. There's a chance this plant is connected to a larger organism and they will attack once we come close

I second attacking from afar but before we opt for Blizzard, I'd like to try puppet and see if we can't just command the plant to open up

 

Last use of puppet worked. So I am not against using puppet on the plant. Though, as soon as we start we should be ready to handle a fight.

First off, let's give her clothes. All we've got is a modest two-piece swimsuit, but it's better than nothing. And we should probably head back to the train to talk, it'll be safer than here at least.

As for questions, let's go in chronological order. What did Maple do before Sally was created, how long was she able to remain free once Sally took charge, and why was she kept in that pod rather than in prison? I'm curious about what Maple can tell us about the administrative area and the prison since those are controlled by Sally. We'll have to deal with her and the Directive, does Maple have any idea which of those places we'd find Sally's mainframe? Which of the two would be better to target first? If we take on the prison, theoretically we could free everyone who's been wrongfully imprisoned and use that to go forward. But the specific structure of the prison and how it incarcerates its inmates may make that impossible to do without dealing with the administrative area first. Also, I'm curious about what Maple can tell us about Sally's personality, since she made the deliberate choice to broadcast footage of the party changing out of their swimsuits.

Maple eh? Well I guess she did come from a plant...

before we do anything we should cast identify on her just to make sure she actually speaks the truth. This one looks a bit too similiar to the Gynoids we just met. So lets make sure this isn't a trap.

Once that is cleared, heading to the train does sound like a smart idea. And the questions are also pretty sound. I do wonder why Maple was caught in the Mercantile district and then brought all the way to downtown though, given that this is intended for temporary storage before transport to prison.


and I guess once that is done we can hand the kitty some clothes as well, we do have the gloves of harvest that just sit around uselessly, so looks like we finally get some uses out of them.

There is still one area in downtown we haven't checked out, I really need to get working on that map...

 

I'd suggest giving Maple the swimsuit and the gloves now. Then they can head to the train to continue the discussion.

This poor kitty was stuffed into a plant for who knows how long, so she deserves some rubs. Yulia at least but I insist everyone chips in to pay the headpat tax.

Questions? Why she is in a plant and not in a prison. Seems odd that for all the total control Sally has she couldn't have uprooted the plant and stuffed maple into the prison as well.

I would love that dark-skinned kitty running around nude~ That would surely rise my mood with all of this gloom ai apocalypse around. But since everyone is hell-bent on covering her up, I will settle for the swim suit.

 

We should first ask permission before patting strange kitty.

I remind that one reason was that she was powering the local system, likely the garden.
