The woman explains that they're joining up with Kyouka's group, and that her brother is still alive. They look a little confused, but surprisingly willing to go along with it. "So," she looks at the redhead with a hateful glare. "What now? What are your orders, oh fearless leader? My name's Tetchi, by the way, though you won't get to use it much before Kitano-San cuts off that pretty little head."
Midori shrugged. “Her body is very nice, no doubt, as is yours, but my focus is on other things right now. I try not to mix business and pleasure if I don't have to.” She explained.
Kina moves to immediately object, but she paused. Something was strange, and she was even more lost then before. "I... don't remember." She answered truthfully. There was a gap in her memory, she realised that now. Was it the effect of lifting the curse?
"Fair enough." She's silent for the rest of the walk. "Down there," she explains as they come to a burnt out slum building, "head down into the basement, and ask for Eight-Tails."
"Nice to meet you, Tetchi. My name's Kyouka, glad to have you join us." Kyouka cooed as she stands up, "But don't worry, Kitano won't be the boss for much longer. Oh, but on a side note. When are you supposed to base after you hit that gambling den?"
@unisol_gr44 Shintaro frowns. "I'm not willing to take chances with someone like Oichi. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, son." He looks to Kina. "I'm taking you to a sorceress, but your hands are staying bound."
"Pffft. As if some small timer like you could beat him." She seems to have genuine respect for her former boss. "I don't have to return immediately. I have a lot of freedom, being his lieutenant-advisor."
Jian's eyes roamed over Kina's exposed breasts for a moment, before he looked to his father, 'I will leave it in your hands then, father. I hope it was only a dream. I would not want Oichi to move about the castle at her leisure.' Jian bowed to his father and left, heading to his own room.
Midori examined the burned building. “Here? I see... yes, this would make a good place to lie low and avoid attention... Alright, thank you, Ya-Ming. I hope I will see you again later.” She gave the ninja a smile before following the instructions and heading down to look for Eight-Tails.
"Stay in the castle for a while. I have a task for you, if you're willing." SHintaro turns back to the blonde. When Jian returns to the room, Chitsukiko, Koko and the spider have settled in.
"Good, then tonight you and your men will die in that gambling house." Kyouka said with a grin, "At least that's what's supposed to happen. For now, return there, and pretend how you'll be running things until the new manager arrives tonight." She walks toward them explaining her plan, "Do as I say, and I'll show you just how capable I am. Are you in?"
She's met by a thick metal door, with no response when she knocks. Eventually, she says the name, and the door swings open, seemingly on its own. Heading down into a rather spartan and bare looking basement space, lit by candles, she eventually sees an overweight man in his mid twenties, wearing an elegant robe and sitting on a plush cushion. "Ah, Midori...Hara, was it?" He smiles. "How may I help you today?"
[The spider settled in? Did it build a web in the corner? ] 'I see you have made yourselves comfortable,' Jian chuckled as he entered the room. He sat down next to Chitsukiko, 'How are you feeling?'
"I swore that I'd never fight Tatsu, and I intend to keep that promise." Tetchi grits her teeth. "If he's on your side, now, then I guess I am too." She stands. "Let's go, boys." She and her me depart, heading towards the gambling house.
She smiles. "Better. I just needed some water and some rest." She groans. "Kami, that was embarassing." She shakes her head at the memory of her misadventure in the tunnel.
Jian put his arm around her, chuckling, 'Yes, I am not sure a vine and insect filled tunnel is the best place to "put a child into you".'
"Good. I promise you'll never regret your decision." Kyouka hummed. After they left, she walks to Manuel. "So. You interested in killing some yakuza, and steal from a gambling den?"
"Gambling den, eh?" The nanban chuckles. "Sounds like there'd be money involved, so...yes, yes I am."
Jian chuckled, 'My lips are sealed.' He went to fetch some water for tea and a bath, starting a fire under the tub and putting the kettle on. He turned to Koko, 'Koko, how do you like the castle?'
