Marcie and Gina read CHYOA

[JohnTitor45]

Which is silly imo. Either everything is an anime, because anime just means animation (which is too broad for anime fans), or only Japanese animations are anime (which includes animations that have a Western style).

I think most people go with the second one.

[JakeSnakeCakes]

Just for the reccord, Marcie does agree with you, but Gina was too horny for blue aliens to let her finish her explanation.

This is why I'm a Marcie stan, and why the scroll underneath my badass Sephiroth tattoo says "DEATH TO GINA".

[CurvyLinesEverywhere]

Gonna start this war. Avatar isn't an anime (derogatory). It's a cartoon (derogatory).

Ah, but if "anime" just means "animation," then surely the phrase "best western anime" can be parsed as "best western animation."

Ne?

Technically right. But the problem is that most anime fans are only interested (or mostly interested) in Japanese animation. If you go to an anime subreddit or forum they will think you're being ironic if you're posting about King of the Hill.

King of the Hill doesn't even look like an anime.

What is a weeb and a Yuri?

Yuri is the interpersonal dynamic depicted in that picture, and weeb is the polite term for a person who has that image on standby ready to post in online forums.

I thought a Yuri was any mind control expert that helped the Soviets sneak attack the Allies.
