Read the blurb of a story. "this seems interesting." Look inside: "All typos."

It is the rigidly organized mind that so often fails to think ouside the common routines.

When every single sentence has at least one word misspelled, it takes me off my mood. Can't help it.
It's interesting that as soon as you stop publishing chapters, the likes stop coming in too.

Views also dropped a lot, but not as much as likes did. In the 10 days before I posted the last chapter, the story got about 1000 views/day. Afterwards: 340 views/day. Whereas it went from 148 likes/day in the same 10 days, to zero, zip, nada.

I think it's a matter of repeat senders; someone can view a chapter multiple times (I think, anyways) but only like it once. Also, aside from front page priviledge, the audience for any recent chapters are gonna be the people who actually enjoy you as an author and have notifications on for you, who are WAY more likely to leave a like.

I think another aspect is that you need an account to leave likes, people who come to the site often are more likely to have an account, and people who come to the site often are more likely to see your story early than people who don't.

Then when you stop posting updates, your readers-with-accounts stop reading (because they've already read everything), and your likes stop coming in too.
There are people who have been on this site for a literal decade, and are still using a default profile picture, which is hilarious to me.

Well, not everyone cares about modifying their profile. I was here for more than a decade before I bothered to set up a profile picture for myself.

If you only use your account for selfish reasons (like favouriting stories or gaining access to restricted categories), there isn't much point in dressing up.
I keep respondimg to profile and forum posts and forgetting to put the ending period...........

I don't think that's a major deal, tbh

The fact is we all can understand sentences at the ends of paragraphs even without periods

The proof is in this comment
Writing second-person POV protagonists bothers me more and more. It just feels so damn awkward to be _telling_ readers how they feel.
Looked at my armpit and realized the fetishists are actually pretty spot-on.

That is one of the fetishes that I just don't get. Like, it may not be disgusting, but I also don't get how someone considers it erotic. Same with stuff like tickling or spanking. Not gonna kinkshame, but I also do not see how it can be sexy to some folks.

I feel like spanking is a lot more associable with things like BDSM, the whole 'pain feeld good' crowd. Armpit though, tends to run in the same vein as the feet lovers.
Having a burnout sucks when you have RPs to GM :(

You takes two GM in two rpg for last year. It’s completely normal that at some point you will burn out. Take a break for few days, catch some fresh air, smell nature or go on the walk. I will be definitely waiting.
