The Tower of Voices Voting Thread

Nice! Know that we appreciate you writing this story, if you ever need a break for mental health or sleep don't feel bad for doing so :)

That's nice, everyone had a good time. Yulia may have awakened some more fetishes, but those probably already existed to be honest. I'd have to recommend no more bondage for the remainder of the dungeon Yulia... Somehow I feel that's going to get you in trouble.

Alright we got the gown, not something we want to wear all the time but it could be useful later.

You didn't ask about the mind eaters first! Definitely ask now and I suggest finding other merchants and get their thoughts as well. Afterwords we can start heading for the coldrock to finish that task.

If it's too much you can always scale it back to once a week. We are only halfway through this as it seems, so pacing is important.

Ha! I probably should have expected that the sex scene wouldn't come free. I admit that completely slipped my mind.

Bondage and Submission aren't exactly ideal fetishes to have in this type of dungeon. Luckily we have Cherchiel and Goma who will hopefully be able to keep these urges in check.

I'm not sure how the Gown will come in handy. But I'm sure we are getting some use out of it.

I stick to my latest post as to what to do next

I don't want to put extra work on you guys, so don't worry if you don't want too, but it would be really helpful if you could restate your intentions. It's hard to go looking for them sometimes.

Use Solanium to increase Cherchiels physical capabilities.

After that, well I suppose we are comitted of getting the coldrock now. So my initial plan stands, Goma and Yulia are going to strip and Cherchiel wears all their clothes. The two ladies stay a safe distance away while Cherchiel starts hammering away at the coldrock.

I knew that plan would work!

So which material to get? I would say Silver, according to the Dwarf this can be used for a special weapons and I do believe we would do well diversifying our arsenal a bit. Eventually our crush everything with Boarchiel strategy might stop working after all.

That said we probably also should ask the Dwarf and Martin what we could get with these silver ingots.

Also..I know this is a bit late but should we head back to the Dwarf Hold and ask for a reward for knocking out knocker? He did terrorize the Dwarfs after all and it can never hurt to ask

After that, I would say we finally head over to the Dream path and see if we can get that magic stone

I agree with what the other Voice has said. Boarchiel definitely won't work on the mind eaters as it makes her more impulsive and rush in... We should consider more ranged gear.

I would still like more information on these mind eaters, but knowing they are more dangerous to touch is a good start.

Hello sir! We the voices are here with the chosen to climb the Tower. To do so we require more strength which we gain by doing quests on each floor. We have heard you do trades with the townsfolk, so just like them we would like to offer the Chosens services to you. If there is a task you need done we may be able to help in exchange for goods or knowledge.

We currently are on a quest past this room to retrieve a rare gem so that we may cure an illness of someone in town. Is there a way we may pass unimpeded and or perform a task for you? Removing any mental blocks on our party would greatly help in performing a transaction.

Depending of his answer I have two paths:
Should the mind eaters accept: Thank you! Whatever we can do to help within reason and without harming our party we will try to accomplish. Yulia for now, assuming we can, Please proceed forward and through the dream room.

Should the mind eater decline: Cutting the connection to the mind eater to speak freely with Yulia. Ok time to snap out of it! There's a chance this gas is flammable. Throw the fire bomb forward to distract the mind eater and clear the gas maybe. Battle at range, Cherchiel prepare to block ranged attacks but if he approaches launch the shield at him to buy time. Yulia you need to unload our only ranged spell, icicles, at him and make them count! Goma see if the gas's clears from the bomb, then regardless blow the horn. If thing are looking bad, retreat out of the smoke or Cherchiel tackle him while Yulia quickly stabs him.

Uh! Silver Throwing Knives! That sounds hillariously wasteful

I would have preferred something more permanent, but giving that we will probably run into a lot of demons we shouldn't waste time getting something out of it.

Since Yulia already has a silver staff and Cherchiel is more a blunt force kind of girl, I believe Goma would be the perfect recipient for the knives

I'd say we use 2 ingots for now and get 10 knives. No reason to be too wasteful with the ingots just now, we might yet come upon a better use later on.

But I suppose we have a bigger issue right now.

Cherchiel, use one of the water jugs and dump it on Yulia's head, that oughta keep her straight

Beyond that I defer to Warider's judgement in this situation

Newest Post: That was not fun

The Mind Eaters are definitely going to be a prob-

You think you are safe behind your screens. You may be physically out of reach, but our mastery of the mind knows no boundary. Distance, other universes or dimensions pose no obstacle to our reach. Your perceptions are as easily malleable as those of your chosen.

-lem.

...Under these circumstances, there is only one proper course of action I can take.

I abstain from commenting for this round!

Fool Gambio! Our chosen needs us now more than ever!

The Problem has no power over me and neither shall it stop us on our journey! First, the room is definitely magical if Yulia is being affected by the "gas" as her mask should be helping. Since that's the case we need protection from magical effects, even if it's only a little bit.

The very fact that he is trying to forcefully persuade us to go along with his idea means This mirage problem is up to no good. Even knowing this however does not help us as once in his presence you will be persuaded again. We need to find a way to slow his assault on the mind long enough to deal with him.

We should not go back to the dream path yet, instead we should explore the north path. Perhaps we can find something in the wild deeps. Just be cautious as we have learned that the biology of this cave is dangerous. Goma stay in the middle of Yulia and Cherchiel and keep watch on the ceiling for droppers.

If anyone is feeling compelled to re-enter the dream path right now let everyone know and purge them from your thoughts. It is that creatures tampering and not your own!

Pfft... Okay... I want to make sure this is clear. The Mind Eater's name is not Lem... the point was that it interrupted in the middle of the world problem. As funny as the idea that he signed the post is.

We didn't just escape a plane hopping race of mindcontrolers to lose against a bunch of slugs!

Goma, sound the horn. Yulia, use Icycle to pelt these slugs from the ceilings. You have my permission to use a mana potion if you get low on Mana

It doesn't look like these things have any other manner of attack then to pin their prey to the ground so this way they should be fairly defensless.

While this is going on it might be a good idea to have Goma cast heal on both Cherchiel and the drow to make sure they they don't get killed.

Once all the slugs are one the ground Yulia and Goma should stab the one above Cherchiel.

After its mop up time. Kill all the slugs, oh and safe the Drow, I guess.

Always looking in the wrong direction XD

I agree we can't help the others until the ceiling ones are taken care of, however Cherchiel is in bad shape as she may not be able to breath. We need to act fast!

Goma horn. Goma continue to watch the ceiling and warn Yulia of dangers. Yulia back off and icicle the slug on Cherchiel first to free her. Once free become Boarchiel and try and bait the slimes to fall while avoiding them. Yulia attack the ones on the ground when it's safe to do so.
