God damnit warider XD But I really didn't expect a trap as well since the statue was already damaged. Based on the information we have that sounds like Levateinn.I don't think we can postpone saving Cherchiel. I don't like it, but I do think we need God's light if we want to have any hope of defeating a demon without Cherchiel. I did contemplate using Puppet instead, but that brings it's own risks with it. Since it's a demonic spellbook it probably won't work on demons anyways. Would be pretty broken if it did after all. Yeah, I agree with using God's light. As for who is going to get it. I think Yulia is the only choice. Isalia is a fighter and Goma's condition makes me worry we might have to bench her an extended amount of time. We also have to consider the chance that "For Yulia" might indeed mean just that and that Goma and Isalia won't be able to follow us. So yes, I say we let Yulia have god's light. After we need to know what it does, even if we may need to use up a mana potion for that. We could go back to Lamiel but that will increase the risk of running into the floor monster. I don't think we will get anything more out of her so I don't think it's worth the risk. Once everything is settled I suggest we advance trough "For Yulia"
Sorry, guys... I know this is an especially bad spot for this, but I am really sick and I was staring at a blank chapter for a bit, but I can't write today... I might if I'm feeling better write tomorrow, but I'm thinking I'm just going to delay until thursday...
Newest Post: I did it... Also to be clear, the exact same basic scenario would happen going through this door with or without Cherchiel being captured, just of course she wouldn't be able to use Cherchiel as leverage and there obviously wouldn't be imagery of Cherchiel being tormented. Also to any foot fetishist out there. I tried my best... I don't know what makes feet sexy, but I hope you enjoyed my attempt.
Well, we’ve got a tough choice ahead. I’m leaning towards wearing the outfit, but I have a couple concerns. First, is it just a humiliating and scandalous outfit, or does it have some kind of curse on it? If this is just a matter of dignity I think it’s worth the time and energy saved. But if it is cursed… the next question is how many rooms we’ll have to get through. Getting through one room just to have a harder time with the rest could hurt in the long run if there are a lot of rooms. But with Cherchiel, our main front liner, gone I think we should lean towards having as few fights as possible.
It's definitely cursed in some way. I don't think the outfit is a good idea at all. We have 7 mana potions and are full strength with the party we have. We can get through this. She mentioned the demon will not "open" the door. Nothing says we can just unlock the door ouselves with magic and move through. He could attack, but he also may not. I have a theory with God's light. It was not a negative immediately so I want to believe we were not tricked. Yulia is now glowing and giving off warmth, which makes me think 2 things. Either she is now radiating a healing aura or she could have a protection against things such as the next curse. If the latter is true, we could learn puppet and force this demon to open the door and stay out of our way. We are marked by the abyss and we are here now. Another curse sounds bad, but being able to bypass obstacles such as this one would be nice with puppet. We were also given puppet by the master of lies so it could be a fake anyway, we never had a way to check.
Hm, there is a chance that God Light's will be useful later on. Based on the chapter title it might be some sort of guidance device that allows us to avoid traps. Altough the fact that it doesn't even show up under equipment doesn't have me hopeful. I'm against wearing the outfit. Even in th best case scenario-as in the outfit is not cursed- Yulia will probably end up with another fetish for wearing something like this. That does mean we probably will have to kill that demon Chiremon, but if he is in the same league as Li that shouldn't be much of an issue. In regards to puppet I learned some extracurricular information that made me inclined to think there is no reason to wait in giving it to Goma. There is a certain risk in it but since God's Light turned out to be a bust I'd say we take it and let Goma learn Puppet. Then we can try it on Chiremon and might actually gain some leverage. Also the mention of Li does make it even more likely that we are up against Levateinn. She knows what we are capable of, so we need to obtain every advantage we can.
Voice Emmie, what is your thoughts on puppet? Having a third voice is nice to break these ties. Me and voice Gambio like to pick different things to do often XD Good find Gambio, but I'm not sure how that made using Puppet a better idea XD i still think we should, but not sure if Goma is the one who should have it.
I’m gonna have to vote against using Puppet on anyone. All I can think of is the curse that makes the victim susceptible to commands given by others. While it’s only one of several outcomes, it is possible. And it would completely negate the point of giving someone Puppet if an enemy can potentially command the Puppeteer. As much as I want as many advantages as possible, I think it would be better to hold on to it and trade it later.
If we end up with Obedience, we could simply command them to only obey Yulia(engin used the same loophole in one of her other stories ;P) I view Goma as the best recipent because she is more of a buff type of character, so most curses wouldn't affect her too much. I am not confident we can beat one of the Demons with our current setup. Last time we fought one we lost Muma. These things mean buisness and our main damage dealer is out of comission.
Ha, yes In my newest story, I actually had to write around that, because it's such a common sense thing to do when it comes to body control
I do imagine in a magical system it wouldn't work specifically. That such a thing works as well as it does, because there is no nuance for mechanical learning, a spell or curse can be more flexible though
If we're going to gamble, I think we should just take the dress. Even with Puppet, I don't like the odds of fighting through every challenge put in front of us. It's also the fastest way through this room. If we can get to Cherchiel quickly enough, we may be able to free her and have her join in the fight. The strategy I propose is: Take whichever option is faster (in this case putting on the dress) when given a choice. Keep fighting to a minimum. Arrive at the final room in the best condition possible, and have Yulia rush towards Cherchiel to use Unlock to free her.
I stand by the dress being a bad idea. I think Unlock on the door first could be the fastest loophole, but I also believe that learning Puppet is a good idea to do now. I am ok with Goma, but will we know what curse she gets since we are not her chosen?
I hope my voice is not to late here. It dawned on me that we did not have a plan if this became a fight. If we have puppet then we will have Goma attempt to control the demon and open the door for us. Just in case, if Goma reads the book then Yulia I want you to immediately tell Goma on use of the book to tell her she is to only follow the orders given to her by Yulia and Isalia. If we don't or puppet does not work for whatever reason. Then if/when we fight; Goma sound the horn, Yulia undermine the demon then energize Isalia. Isalia engage the demon while Yulia provides support with her rapier. Goma will then be healing when needed.
Newest Post: I want to be clear, I'm not trying to railroad you into making bad choices... Levateinn is and she's really good at it.
