I’ll dismiss Abyss Lincoln’s offer outright. I want Yulia to go beyond protecting her friends and helping her world, I want her to do all of that and escape the Tower. Giving in here would be a victory in some ways but a loss in others. If both Abyss Lincoln and Lemiel are each going to make another offer, I’ll wait for those before coming up with a battle plan or making a call on what to do with the halo.
Newest Post: Another Offer... Abyss wants to talk about the possible benefits of Lemiel's survival...
With all of the information laid out, I think the only chance we have is to take Lemiel’s offer. I don’t think we should give her the halo, it would probably be a mercy if she only has to die once. She’s seen us fight, and sees no chance of victory. The best we can do now is retreat. I say we Energize and blow the horn for Lemiel to give her the best chance we can, and then book it for the stairs. Lemiel: Thank you for the aid you have given us. I will remember you as a strong and noble warrior.
I was suggesting offering up Alide, due to the vague language Abe was using. Partly because Abe probably has no way of actually getting her and partly because the stuff Alide told us
But even if we get trough with that, I could see it leading to complications down to line, so I'm not that serious about it. Abe you really are...abysmal when it comes to negotiating. Do you even want chosen to take your deals? Luckily you have me to make the crap you're offering more appealing. Alright so the Halo thing is off. I wasn't aware of what exactly Lamiel was planning, but yeah this obviously doesn't work. I have a strong fetish for ruining heroic sacrifices, so I really like Lamiel to make it trough her alive. So! Here is the thing that everyone is forgetting because Abe suuuuuucks. Becoming an Archdemon isn't that bad at all. You get a sweet power post, control over your own domain and if Ash, Liloth and Dahlia are any indication pretty much free roam over the tower Only Levateinn's deal kinda sucks but I more chalk that up to her being a drama queen. Yulia can't take the deal because she would obviously turn into a sexy dominatrix that would sexually abuse her friends...which is bad! But someone else might found this deal quite appealing. What say you...Isalia? You are already part of the dark races. As a female drow the pursuit of power should be ingrained in you. Well, here's your chance. I won't force this on you, but if this is something you want, there is no need to hold back.
Oh okay I get it now... Yeah because he said friends and the prompt called Alide your friend... I get it, did not realize that was what you were saying. Cute.
Personally, I think we could win. But the other voices have presented options to avoid combat. We are a very strong party. If we are avoiding combat, then we should take Lemiels offer. Giving up someone from the party would be the same as losing them in combat, which is not helpful. Unless the one given to be arch demon can still help us...
I don’t think handing anyone over would end well. That would be used against us in some way, whether our party member who took the throne was turned against us or threatened by the other Arch Demons to blackmail us. Don’t forget the enchantments put on Yulia’s dress that would make her powerful, horny, and corrupt her with every orgasm. And the fact that Levateinn was going to prevent the Old Mind from being defeated so all the Drow would get controlled and Liloth would lose her followers.
Newest Post: Clock's Ticking. There seemed to be still some uncertainty, at least from my point of view, I could be wrong, but anyway giving you another chance to all fully decide your choice here. It didn't feel right to go forward while some people might still be uncertain. To prevent any unclearness. Please clearly state your desired choice in your post alongside any arguments you intend to make.
I say we don’t give up any allies. It seems clear that Abyss Lincoln here will use them against us one way or the other. This option would probably hurt more in the long run. I still say we accept Lemiel’s offer. I’m not happy about it, I’d rather we found a way for everyone to get through this. But we’re effectively backed against a cliff in this situation. The best option I see is Lemiel holds off the Abyss while everyone else runs for the stairs. Blow the horn and cast an Energize on Lemiel so she can at least go down swinging. I will say, it feels like there’s something just out of reach. Something about the idea of The One True God sending only a single angel to a floor with two Archdemons and the Abyss, plus the image of Lemiel praying even at this moment, make me think there might be another option here. If the other two voices want to bet on fighting, I will go along with that. To be clear: I say no outright to taking the Abyss’ deal. I say yes to taking Lemiel’s deal. I will go along with the decision to fight but only if the other voices are in agreement on that.
Curses, looks like I just lost my popularity with the girls. Well, it doesn't seem like Isalia has any interest in becoming an archdemon and as stated I won't force it upon her. So we are down to two choices, Fight or sacrificing Lemiel Can't we take that chump? We have been avoiding floor bosses since all the way down from the third floor but we have come a long way since then. We are pretty much at our peak right now. Yeah, I vote for fighting. It goes without saying but we need to go all out here. Isalia sound the horn, then proceed to chuck throwing knives at him Cherchiel equip Boar Mask, inject yourself with the adrenaline syringe and attack Goma, Use puppet on him. instead of giving him some huge order that he will no doubt shrug off, fire at him with a bunch of conflicting orders, like attack, defend, use magic, join anonymous smokers. The aim isn't that he obeys you, but that he questions his own judgement. Drink a mana potion if needed. Yulia energize everyone, except yourself and then undermine the fucker, continue with Blizzard, Icicle and Lightning strike, use cure if the abyss goes for status affects, You may drink Mana potions as needed Lemiel do your thing, this ends now
If Warrider wants to fight, I'll side with the majority. But if that's the case, I do have a couple alternative suggestions to Gambio's tactics. One, Yulia shouldn't use Undermine on the Abyss, it's likely to be deflected. Same with Goma and Puppet: I recommend we have Goma wait until The Abyss starts giving orders to our party, and then try to overrule them, as I suspect he has some sort of control spells of his own. And overall, fight cautiously. I'm sure he knows every single trick we have up our sleeve, yet we have no idea what he's capable of. I'm still nervous about fighting, but will agree to it if both of the others want to.
I was for fighting before, but i needed to consult RNGesus... And it agrees that we should fight. I think we are strong enough. It is risky and we may lose someone, but if we win the abyss will leave us alone for good. I want everyone to remain safe! I can agree that using Puppet is a bad move, so Goma should watch over everyone and puppet them out of danger if need be. Something like an arrow fired at someone and they are not looking, us puppet to make them duck.
Newest Post: The Fight With the Abyss So... I just want to state... I figured this would be either a complete stomp or extremely close, so I set the thresholds pretty low... By which I mean... If you won by less than 5 points... someone was going to die, if you won by 5 or more points, everyone lived, if you lost well... game over...
Oh. Oh wow. We were literally one point away from losing someone. Considering the difficulty went over 100 I’m just glad we all walked out of this. I don’t think we can use it now but I’ll still make note that we have a syringe of poison antidote we can give to Yulia, and Goma can heal her if needed. Yulia in turn will be able to heal and cure everyone else. I’m curious about this Laifel figure Abyss Lincoln mentioned. She apparently struck down several Archdemons, so more have been defeated than Ash, the previous Demon of Gifts, and the third one Dahlia mentioned. I’m curious how their replacements were chosen, considering our only frame of reference has been the killer taking their place. That, paired with the Abyss pushing for first Yulia and then a member of her party, to take the role makes me wonder if he’s worried about filling the seat purely with his own forces. Not to mention, it seems Lemiel knows what happened to Laifel afterwards, and although I’m sure it’s unpleasant we should probably have an idea of what he intends for Yulia.
So, just to point this out... Laifell is the name of The Archdemon of Pride as revealed during the tour in the Drow city... Laifell was also the third one Dahlia mentioned... Who she had reason to suspect was a replacement. The implication of what happened to Laifel after being defeated by the Abyss was meant to be pretty clear.
