    Phew, Crisis averted.

I mean, these suits are cool and all, but if all we get out of them is a -10 for trading magic and Gods light, then Yulia is better off without it.

Well, I guess before we actually made that decision we should identify the new gear, to get a better idea what exactly we are working with.

Meaning for now Yulia definitely has to strip out of it.

After that is done with, we still have the destroyed robots at Martin's place, so we should see what other gears we can craft from them.

The way I see it, Lri should put on the tech armor, and then we should investigate this house. I see 50/50 odds of this being a trap by Sally. On one hand, we're wary and this would be a good opportunity for Yulia and Lri to get used to this new equipment. On the other hand, it's possible someone or something besides Sally could be here. We may even have room to gain a new ally. Even in the worst case scenario, I doubt Sally set up too dangerous of a trap inside this random house. It's a risk, but I think a low-risk/low-reward situation is a good one for us as things stand. Not to mention we need to kill time before we can go back to Maple's lab.

We still need to identify the plasma rifle ;P

If we can use the rifle without the suit there's really no reason for Yulia to do so. We already have range invulnerability after all.

With Lri we give up illusions and the veil and of course Yulia can't cast any spells on her,

My issue is that armor so far has been fairly superfluous unless it has a special effect. It protects against Health damage, but Health was never an issue.

Could Yulia wear the fishbowl and the veil of hidden depths with her current equipment? I imagine she would have at least take off her mask but that would be a decent trade off if we get Lri suited up.

As for the house, well we already have a reason against the body suit. Lri should send in one of her illusions first and see what happens before we enter.

I'm just going to say here for simplicity, the plasma rifle can be used without the suit, the two are not connected, the suit does protect (Ie in this case has an actual effect) against stun weapons (negates their effect on the difficulty in combat) I suppose it's my fault since yeah armor has up to now been superfluous in terms of actual combat effect, other than deciding how damaged (And potentially killed) someone should get, but in this case the high tech armor does have some actual affect, that said, the cloak does provide negation against long range attacks anyway.

The fishbowl and veil can't be worn with the mask, but could be worn with the rest of her equipment.

In that case I propose we put the fishbowl and the veil on Yulia, while Lri wears the teach armor. I think losing magic is too much of a negative for Yulia

Illusions have been useful thus far. So maybe keeping it would be worth risking contact stun attacks.

I agree that sending an illusion first could be useful before entering the house.

Fuck that shit, I see no reason to go in there, this is clearly a trap.

Personally I don't want us dilly dallying around for too much and move to operation prison break soon, so I suggest we check out the cemetery and then head back to Maple's workshop.

I'm curious what lies in there, but if we're certain it's a trap it's probably better to just check out the cemetery and move on. I'd like at least one more card up our sleeve before we shift to operation prison break, but if we can't find anything like that (whether it be an ally, a new ability, or another item) there's not much to do.

You say that's a trap but why doesn't any more bots come out? Feels like it's something completely different.
Don't be little girls and just pile in. Its a single creature and it couldn't even shatter the illusion. The illusion!

I think its just a small critter hiding from all the robots. You just go in there and say hi ;3

I agree that having something new, not seen by Sally, would be good. We can check the cemetery and if the door is still open, consider if we want to walk into a somekind of trap, wether Sally's or something else's, then.

I wouldn't call this grave robbing, we're taking unfinished and abandoned inventions and bringing them to the light of day. Would it really be wrong to finish inventions Gram died without completing? And using them to protect the city he built? Desperate times call for desperate measures, and what better to have on our side than inventions from the city's founder?

In short, I say we investigate. This contains exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to have against Sally.

Oh we got Maple in the team, nice

I think it is very unlikely that the entire power source of the city isn't extremely well guarded. Going in there is just asking for trouble.

I'm against it and propose we head back to Maple's for these upgrades

On the bright side, we now know that Sally needs to spread her forces between at least three extremely high points of interest. (power source, administrative, operations) This could be an indicator that Punitive might have less forces stationed there then one might think, simply by virtue of it being of lower priority

That's of course assuming Sally doesn't just have a fuck you amount of robots, but if power is limited she shouldn't have.

Maple does not sound enthusiastic. So, in the interest of keeping our weaponsmith happy, I think we should head to Maple's workshop and see what upgrades we can get before deciding what to do.

Those upgrades are really damned tempting. Especially that Arcane Flux, the idea of Yulia having physical defense and shock resistance paired with her offensive magic is really damn useful. The problem is, if we want one we gotta take down a tough enemy. Do we want to try a rematch with the Manager with the benefit of more knowledge and better countermeasures? Because the enemy we'd want an upgrade for is the boss guarding the prison. Once we get past that and free the rest of the party, we'll have a lot more options.

As for what to do right now, I think we should upgrade Lri's agility and spend two plates on four EMPs. That'll leave us with two plates left for the big upgrade in case we can't get more, and I think Lri+EMPs will be super useful for taking on the Manager.

    Definitely some great upgrades there.

I don't think we need to hold back with the plates. The small robots are a dime in a dozen, the cores will be the limiting factor.

I agree that our group is more speed bases so we should lean in that aspect. Altough I would like to give Maple the same upgrade.

I also think that the grenades will come in handy in case we just need a lot of firepower. We did run out of grenades in the last fight, so replenishing our stock definitely sounds smart.

    So

    one speed upgrade for Lri
    one speed upgrade for Maple
    four EMP grenades

After that is done, I like to check out the prison.
