If we just have to wear the Leviathan down, I don't mind taking this deal. I was imaging us needing to deal non-lethal damage or something. But with Yulia's magical artillery, I think we can get by.
I say we accept the deal, and move on to deal with Aqua.

 

Oh, it's the Siren girl we completely humiliated!

She's pretty useless but cute so while I usually would insist on the cloak I'm fine with this deal.


Besides, Goma can easily puppet her if she tries something so there's no worry about her trying to backstab us


Speaking off, Goma's mana could use a recharge. Should we take a rest here or is time too much of the essence? We could also just a mana potion since we barely need them anymore.


So, Lri what exactly are you good at? know the Queen calls you a fast and skilled ambusher but Isalia clearly has you beat on the trap department and Isalia got ambushed by slugs.


Next up is Aqua, we know he is a demon and he can use powerful magic but beyond that there's another issue to consider. He is very close to fishpeople territory.

I wager the fish people won't be too happy with us killing their merchant and when they see us swimming around with a Siren they knew the jig is up. We should try to avoid combat with them, especially as long as Aqua is still alive and they have their super weapons.


Unfortunately...that means we have to treat Lri like a prisoner and make sure everybody is aware of that.I think Goma's tentacle knife would be the best option to tie her up nice and tight, since we can quickly remove it once we need her in fighting form. Also, might be good to have her naked again, just to really drove the point home that we aren't working together.

Yeah, sorry about that Lri, it's not that I want to do that but my hands are...pfft tied.

Well, no backing down now.
Yulia, use Identify first to see he has any specific strengths to avoid or weaknesses to exploit. Besides that, Energize on everyone including Lri, then Force Lance. Isalia, blow the horn for everyone and then join the front line with your trident. Cherchiel, boar mask up and try to skewer him. Goma, once Yulia ensures Aqua doesn’t have any potential magic reflection up, try to Puppet him. I doubt we can end this with one order, but if we can even make him hesitate at all it will give us an advantage. Lri, keep an eye out for outside interference.

I think Emmie summed our strategy up pretty well and I agree with it. The biggest issue is how little information we have on Aqua. So yeah, identify is key.


I woud also suggest we hit him with lifedrain(Isalia and Yulia), undermine, icycle and blizzard, no reason to hold back on the magic nuke front, unless of course identify reveals some magic repellant or something.

Oh, and Goma, I think you can release Lri from the tentacles now, fighting with them on might be a bit tricky

Incidentally, I noticed that Lri's mana dropped to 60% is this a side effect of the dagger? At any rate, we can deal with your hornyness later, for now we need to kill something.



If it does turn out that he has some magic repellant fuckery going on we should use our silver knives and grenade launcher on him. I do think otherwise that would be quite overkill though.

(No worries about the delay, Lehe, this was a long one.)
This is certainly unfortunate. But it's the unfortunate reality of combat, this was a winnable fight but luck wasn't on our side.

Given everyone besides Yulia is listed as having 10% HP, they're probably all alive and being held somewhere.

First thing we should do is grab a swimsuit. Second, check back in with Martin and see if he has literally anything he can arm us with.

After that, I think we should go to Dahlia. I suspect she has info to catch us up on what's happened. I'm sure she'll want to savor our defeat, but we might be able to goad her in revealing information on where our companions are.

 

I'm sorry this happend Yulia, but I agree with Emmie's plan.

Unfortunately this also could have very bad outcome for the war. If the sirens are already overrun the whole deal would be off. You should definitely try to figure out how much time has passed.

But I also don't understand why Isalia attacked you. Was that from the spell on her trident?

 

No, we had that trident made ourselves. I think Aqua cast some kind of spell on her, maybe even Puppet.

Well, the swimsuit shop is there so we should at least be able to get a new swimsuit

If I understand the situation correctly we currently have absolutely nothing on us, so Martin won't be able to craft anything. I guess we can still check in with him. Since Yulia still has her magic(and god's light) we are not complete defenseless, but yeah this is a huge downgrade. Double spell cost is active again as well, so we can't just nuke things anymore.


Worst, and probably most realistic scenario is that Aqua snatched up all our gear, which means the fucker's basically invincible right now. We don't need to kill him to get off the floor but I don't fancy our chances of killing the floor boss without our equipment

We know that Aqua works for Levateinn, which would explain why he didn't outright kill us. Levateinn is weirdly fixated on us. And making Yulia suffer is definitely more akin to something in her interest.


What we need the most right now is information, so Dahlia is a good start.

 

But wouldn't puppet be in the list if he cast it?

And that we made the trident ourselves is not what I meant. He cast the spell on it which made it too hot for Isalia to hold and she picked it up later. But that would be a weird and very strong spell if it also acted like puppet.

 

To clear this up... It was an effect of his sword. I'm not going to say anything more than that for now, hopefully you'll learn more in game.

I think we have to bite the bullet and take Goma’s place for a bit. I don’t like our odds of finding someone to capture and trade for her, at least not in a timely manner. Alone, unarmed, and with mana costs doubled, an attempt to nab someone off the beach would more likely lead to our defeat.

As for more information, I don’t like it but I don’t like our odds of finding Cherchiel and Isalia on our own. I feel bad for Lri since we’ve brought her nothing but misfortune, but we need to get our party back together and move on ASAP.

 

Whelp, this floor has just drastically extended it's runtime XD

We don't really have anything to offer and I don't like the idea of Yulia trying to kidnap someone, so I guess sex it is.

Making an educated guess Aqua has offered up our remaining three friends to each of the three races, so instead of getting three fetishes I suggest testing that theory by only getting Cherchiel's location.

If she's by one of the three races it's a pretty safe bet Lri and Isalia are hold by the other two.

I say Cherchiel since she is our biggest asset and we should get her back first.



Then we can check in with the other races for Isalia and Lri

Well, the situation has improved a bit now that Goma is here, and is even still armed. She's even back to full HP and mana.

That said, Cherchiel being held by Aqua is basically the worst news we could've gotten. It was a close fight back when we had him outnumbered five to one and we were fully armed.

For now, I think we have to ask Dahlia where Isalia is before we leave. There's no guarantee Aqua has her too, if anything he's incentivized to split everyone up.

As for a next step, I don't know what to do. I doubt the Sirens are happy with us, since they'll probably share some of the blame for our attack. The mermaids have no reason to trust us. And the Sahuagin likely view us as enemies since we tried to remove their advantage. Maybe someone else has an idea, but I've got nothing concrete beyond getting Isalia's location.

I do see one potential path, although I have no guarantee it'd even work. And even if it does, it's not something we should do lightly. But if we have no other option, we could go for a literal Hail Mary play and join with the Tower Above. If Yulia prays to the One True God and offers to formally join them in exchange for the party's safety, we'd probably be able to get through this. If this were an issue with the Tower itself such as a floor boss I doubt it'd work, but this is an agent of the Tower Below trying to claim an entire floor for Levateinn.
